  • Patent number: 10760016
Abstract: A gasifier system includes a reactor for receiving a wet feedstock which has a base and a container rotatably connected to the base such that a rotation of the container causes a mixing of the feedstock in an interior of the reactor. The interior is bounded by the base and the container. A space between the base and the container allows an entry of oxygen into the interior. The space has a dimension such that the feedstock is fully oxidized in a combustion area adjacent the base and such that the feedstock avoids combustion in a remainder of the interior. The reactor has a longitudinal axis inclined at an inclination angle relative to a horizontal line to promote the mixing of the feedstock in the interior.

  • Patent number: 10763769
Abstract: A controller for a power convertor includes: a torque command value calculation module to calculate a first torque command value to a power convertor; a torque command limit module to receive the first torque command value and generate a second torque command value obtained by correcting the first torque command value so that the first torque command value is limited to a torque limiter range. The torque command limit module sets a width between the upper limit torque value and the lower limit torque value of the torque limiter range to be smaller as a fundamental wave output frequency of the power convertor increases at least in a speed region equal to or higher than a field weakening starting point.

  • Patent number: 10763698
Abstract: A current-based resonant power delivery (CRPD) device and method with multi-cycle switching that enables efficient inductive power transmission at large distances. The proposed CRPD switches the Rx LC-tank for several cycles to utilize it as a current source. Therefore, the voltage across the load (RL) can be significantly higher than the Rx LC-tank voltage. In CRPD, the energy may first be stored in the receiver (Rx) coil by shorting the Rx LC-tank for several power carrier cycles. At the peak of Rx coil current, the coil energy may then be transferred to load (RL) for a quarter of the power carrier cycle.

  • Patent number: 10760162
Abstract: Aqueous dispersions of artificially synthesized, mussel-inspired polydopamine nanoparticles were inkjet printed on flexible polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates. Narrow line patterns (4 ?m in width) of polydopamine resulted due to evaporatively driven transport (coffee ring effect). The printed patterns were metallized via a site-selective Cu electroless plating process at a controlled temperature (30° C.) for varied bath times. The lowest electrical resistivity value of the plated Cu lines was about 6 times greater than the bulk resistivity of Cu. This process presents an industrially viable way to fabricate Cu conductive fine patterns for flexible electronics at low temperature, and low cost.
