  • Patent number: 11226378
Abstract: Various embodiments are described that relate an electrical current connector. The electrical current connector can be configured to provide electrical current when pressure is applied to a prong set. This pressure can cause a contact to engage with a connector. This can complete a circuit that allows the electrical current to flow. The connector can be coupled to a cable that can be configured to transfer data along with the electrical current. The cable can have an inner portion that transfers the data while an outer portion that surrounds the inner portion transfers the current.

  • Patent number: 11216294
Abstract: Various embodiments are described that relate to creating a user interface when a data structure is unknown. An application can be used to discover the content of that unknown data structure at runtime. Part of this discovery can include conversion of that data structure from a virtual machine class to a markup language. The discovered content can be used to build a user interface presented on a display. The user interface can be interactive such that information is entered into the user interface. That entered information can be retained in a database as can the discovered content. The entered information along with the content can be converted from the markup language to the virtual machine class back to an originator of the unknown data structure. This way, the originator receives a response in a format usable by the originator.

  • Publication number: 20210380567
Abstract: A composition of matter including two optionally substituted phenol or optionally substituted aniline units separated by a furan spacer has been prepared. In particular, the chemical structure has a novolac bridge between the central furan ring and the two attached optionally substituted phenol and/or optionally substituted aniline units. These compounds can be modified to be used in various polymer resins. This new structure reduces toxicity relative to BPA/F, makes use of renewable chemicals, and produces certain beneficial polymer properties.

Abstract: An explosive reactive armor (ERA) enclosure for an ERA tile includes a bottom and a plurality of sidewalls extending from the bottom, where the plurality of sidewalls are continuous with each other and with the bottom so as to define an internal volume. The plurality of sidewalls are formed from a fiber-reinforced composite material having a plurality of plies of fiber sheet material. Additionally, a sidewall seam defined by abutting edges of the first ply is offset from a sidewall seam defined by abutting edges of the second ply. Methods of manufacturing ERA enclosures, including applying wrap layers and forming attachment structures for securing the fiber-reinforced composite ERA enclosure to an armor element, are also described. The composite enclosure is inexpensive and lightweight and improves the dynamic capabilities of armored vehicles using such ERA tiles.

  • Patent number: 11148805
Abstract: An enclosure for a UAS includes a housing having a base and a plurality of sidewalls coupled to the base, a motive apparatus coupled to the housing, a platform coupled to the motive apparatus, and a plurality of lids pivotably coupled to the sidewalls and the platform. The platform and the plurality of lids move collectively under control of the motive apparatus (e.g., a linear actuator). Driving the motive apparatus in a first direction causes the platform to raise from a stowed position toward a deployed position and causes each of the plurality of lids to pivot from a closed position toward an open position. Conversely, driving the motive apparatus in a second direction opposite the first direction causes the platform to lower from the deployed position toward the stowed position and causes each of the plurality of lids to pivot from the open position toward the closed position.
