  • Patent number: 8003815
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of preparing a cross-condensed compound of an amino-acid derivative and (aminoalkyl)trialkoxysilane using microwave, including: irradiating and heating an amino-acid derivative and (aminoalkyl)trialkoxysilane in a microwave reactor to obtain a reaction product (step 1); and refining the reaction product obtained in the step 1 by removing an unreacted solid material from the reaction product and then leaving the reaction product at room temperature under vacuum to remove excess (aminoalkyl)trialkoxysilane therefrom (step 2). According to the method, since a cross-condensation reaction is performed using microwave, unlike a conventional condensation reaction, economic efficiency is increased due to no catalyst, short reaction time and no solvent. Further, the yield and selectivity of products is increased, and the condensation reaction can be environment-friendly performed because a solvent which can badly influence the environment may not be used.

  • Patent number: 7990310
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an Ultra-WideBand (UWB) ranging method using a narrowband interference suppression waveform. A transmission signal is transmitted to a target object. The transmission signal, reflected from the target object, is received. A template signal is generated by combining the narrowband interference suppression waveform and a channel estimation signal together. A correlation output signal is generated by convoluting the template signal and the received signal. A distance is calculated using a time delay when the correlation output signal has the maximum value thereof. The narrowband interference suppression waveform is any one of two waveforms that are expressed by the following Equation: wr1(t)=g(t??1/2)+g(t+?1/2) wr2(t)=g(t??2/2)?g(t+?2/2) where g(t) is a basic UWB pulse waveform, ?1=(N+1/2)f1, ?2=(N)/f1, N is an integer, and fi is the center frequency of a narrowband interference signal.

  • Patent number: 7921295
Abstract: A system for managing service mobility using an extensible Markup Language (XML) electronic signature. A mobility interface stops and stores the operation of a service being currently performed. Before the service is moved, a service serializer serializes service state information and converts it into an XML form which is attachable to an electronic signature. An XML security manager creates an XML electronic signature for the Manifest file of the Java ARchive (JAR) file of a service bundle, attaches the serialized service state information to the XML electronic signature, and records it. A service installer transmits the signed JAR file to an Open Service Gateway initiative (OSGi) framework that has requested that the service be moved.

  • Publication number: 20110058470
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a ranging apparatus and method. The ranging apparatus includes a correlation unit for correlating OFDMA reception signals with inverse fast Fourier transformed ranging codes, and outputting correlation result values. A threshold determination unit determines a threshold value depending on characteristics of the reception signals. A comparison unit estimates a delay time by selecting a maximum value from among the correlation result values, and detects a ranging code by comparing the maximum value with the threshold value, and then outputs and feeds back the ranging code and the delay time when the maximum value is equal to or greater than the threshold value. A weight multiplication unit delays the ranging code by the delay time, multiplies a weight by the delayed ranging code, and outputs a resulting value. A calculation unit subtracts the resulting value from the reception signals, and provides adjusted reception signals.
