Abstract: A low density parity check (LDPC) encoder, an LDPC decoder, and an LDPC encoding method are disclosed. The LDPC encoder includes first memory, second memory, and a processor. The first memory stores an LDPC codeword having a length of 16200 and a code rate of 3/15. The second memory is initialized to 0. The processor generates the LDPC codeword corresponding to information bits by performing accumulation with respect to the second memory using a sequence corresponding to a parity check matrix (PCM).

Abstract: A system and a method for computing the relative rotation and the relative translation of back-to-back cameras comprise: a fixed mode and an adjustment mode. In the fixed mode, a reversible external camera is installed next to the back-to-back cameras, the external camera is flipped to shoot a calibration pattern from different positions and angles, the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters of each camera are computed, and then a reverse calculation is performed on the extrinsic parameters, as such the amount of translation and rotation of the back-to-back cameras are obtained. When the relative angle of the back-to-back cameras changes, the angle is automatically detected and the extrinsic parameters of the camera computed at the fixed mode is modified, and then the reverse calculation is performed on the extrinsic parameters to adjust the amount of translation and rotation of the back-to-back cameras.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for generating a depth map from multi-view images, the method including receiving multi-view images and parameters thereof; generating an initial depth map, an initial normal map, and an initial reliability map for the multi-view images; performing selection of multiple initial vertices and triangulation based on the initial depth map and the initial normal map and generating depth values and normal values for the result of triangulation; performing regularization based on triangulation, selecting additional vertices in the initial depth map, and generating additional depth values and additional normal values based on the additional vertices and regularization; and refining the initial depth map into a refined depth map by replacing depth values and normal values having reliability below a preset level in the initial depth map and the initial normal map with the additional depth values and the additional normal values.

Abstract: A broadband RF imaging device includes a broadband RF aperture array, at least one RF receiver, and a computer. The at least one RF receiver has short RF connections with the broadband RF aperture array, e.g. length 10 meters or less. The computer has a digital data connection to the at least one RF receiver. Each RF receiver is configured to receive broadband RF signal data over a sampling time interval from the broadband RF aperture array, and to digitize the broadband RF signal data to generate digitized broadband RF signal data, and to store the digitized broadband RF signal data locally at the RF receiver. The computer receives the digitized broadband RF signal data stored locally at the at least one RF receiver, and is programmed to reconstruct an RF image from the digitized broadband RF signal data received from the at least one RF receiver.

Abstract: A method for learning depth-aware keypoints and associated descriptors from monocular video for monocular visual odometry is described. The method includes training a keypoint network and a depth network to learn depth-aware keypoints and the associated descriptors. The training is based on a target image and a context image from successive images of the monocular video. The method also includes lifting 2D keypoints from the target image to learn 3D keypoints based on a learned depth map from the depth network. The method further includes estimating a trajectory of an ego-vehicle based on the learned 3D keypoints.

Compared with the prior art, the present invention can provide a reverse thrust for an underwater vehicle in an emergency, help the underwater vehicle to ascend, and improve safety.
