Abstract: The disclosure provides conductive membranes for water splitting and solar fuel generation. The membranes comprise an embedded semiconductive/photoactive material and an oxygen or hydrogen evolution catalyst. Abstract: An image processor generates a Super-Resolution (SR) frame by upscaling. A Human Visual Preference Model (HVPM) helps detect random texture regions, where visual artifacts and errors are tolerated to allow for more image details, and immaculate regions having flat areas, corners, or regular structures, where details may be sacrificed to prevent annoying visual artifacts that seem to stand out more. A regularity or isotropic measurement is generated for each input pixel. More regular and less anisotropic regions are mapped as immaculate regions. Higher weights for blurring, smoothing, or blending from a single frame source are assigned for immaculate regions to reduce the likelihood of generated artifacts. In the random texture regions, multiple frames are used as sources for blending, and sharpening is increased to enhance details, but more artifacts are likely. These artifacts are more easily tolerated by humans in the random texture regions than in the regular-structure immaculate regions.

Abstract: A dimming system comprises a controller and an AC-to-DC converter. The controller outputs a control signal in response to a dimming signal. The controller comprises a frequency adjustment circuit and a duty cycle adjustment circuit. The frequency adjustment circuit adjusts the frequency of the control signal in response to the dimming signal. The duty cycle adjustment circuit adjusts the duty cycle of the control signal in response to the dimming signal. The AC-to-DC converter converts an external power and to output a DC signal in response to the control signal so as to drive a light source by the DC signal. When the controller is operated at a first mode, the control signal has a first frequency and a first duty cycle. When the controller switches to a second mode, the control signal has a second frequency and a second duty cycle.

In an embodiment, the design method introduces a thickness optimization algorithm into a Yang-Gu algorithm.

Abstract: Methods for preparing an antibody are provided with the method including incorporating 3-bromo-4-hydroxy-benzoic acid into a protein to form an antigen, immunizing a mammalian host with the antigen, and recovering an antibody having an affinity for the antigen from the host. Abstract: The present disclosure provides a catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation of butene to butadiene, comprising at least one compound of formula ZnaAlbMcFeeOf.Z(?-Fe2O3), wherein M is at least one element chosen from Be, Mg, Ca, Sr, Mn, Ba, Cu, Co, and Ni, Z represents the percentage by weight of ?-Fe2O3 in the catalyst and ranges from 10% to 70%. Abstract: A defect detection system for an extreme ultraviolet lithography mask comprises an extreme ultraviolet light source (1), extreme ultraviolet light transmission parts (2, 3), an extreme ultraviolet lithography mask (4), a photon sieve (6) and a collection (7) and analysis (8) system. Point light source beams emitted by the extreme ultraviolet light source (1) are focused on the extreme ultraviolet lithography mask (4) through the extreme ultraviolet light transmission parts (2, 3); the extreme ultraviolet lithography mask (4) emits scattered light and illuminates the photon sieve (6); and the photon sieve (6) forms a dark field image and transmits the same to the collection (7) and analysis (8) system. The defect detection system for the extreme ultraviolet photolithographic mask uses the photon sieve to replace a Schwarzchild objective, thereby realizing lower cost, relatively small size and high resolution.

Accordingly, the present invention further provides a semiconductor structure.
