Abstract: The present invention provides novel protein and gene related to flavonoid O-methyltransferase (FOMT) and their uses therefore. The said protein having an amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 3, or an amino acid sequence having deletion, substitution or insertion of one or plural amino acids in said amino acid sequence. The said gene comprising the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 1, or a gene which hybridizes with said gene under stringent conditions and encodes a protein, which has anthocyanin 3?-O-methyltransferase or 3?,5?-O-methyltransferase activity. The present invention also provides a method for obtaining the transgenic plant used the above-mentioned gene.

Abstract: A display device including a first substrate, a second substrate, a display element layer, a non-transparent structure, an optical guiding structure and a reflective layer is disclosed. Abstract: A hollow fiber adsorbent compressed dry air system including an intake unit, a first adsorption/regeneration unit, a second adsorption/regeneration unit, a switch unit and an exhaust unit is disclosed. The first adsorption/regeneration unit has a hollow fiber adsorbent housing and a heating device disposed in the surrounding of the adsorbent housing. One of the hollow fiber adsorbent housings performs drying procedure to the compressed air in the room temperature, and the other hollow fiber adsorbent housing, when heated by the heating device thereof, performs a desorption regeneration procedure in a high temperature condition. The switch unit alternately switches the drying procedure and the desorption regeneration procedure to the first adsorption/regeneration unit and the second adsorption/regeneration unit.

Abstract: An infrared ray absorbing film is selectively formed on a surface of a silicon carbide semiconductor substrate in a predetermined area. An aluminum film and a nickel film are sequentially formed in this order on the silicon carbide semiconductor substrate in an area excluding the predetermined area in which the infrared ray absorbing film is formed. The silicon carbide semiconductor substrate is thereafter heated using a rapid annealing process with a predetermined heating rate to form an electrode. The rapid annealing process converts the nickel film into a silicide and, with the aluminum film, provides an electrode having ohmic contact.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus for enrichment culturing of anaerobic ammonium-oxidizing bacteria, including: a reactor containing a culture medium containing ammonium and nitrite; and activated sludge beads in which the anaerobic ammonium-oxidizing bacteria in the culture medium are supported, wherein the amount of the activated sludge beads is 25-35% based on the volume of the culture medium. Because loss of the anaerobic ammonium-oxidizing bacteria is minimized and the beads have good mechanical strength, the apparatus for enrichment culturing of anaerobic ammonium-oxidizing bacteria can be operated for a long time.

Abstract: Provided is a beta voltaic battery including a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer, and a beta-ray generator which is disposed between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer and includes a metal substrate having both sides coated with a radioisotope layer. The beta voltaic battery according to the present invention has no sealing layer, but may efficiently shield beta rays through a sandwich structure. Since the sealing layer is absent, the absorption of beta rays by the semiconductor may be improved, and excellent energy conversion efficiency may be obtained because output is improved due to the two semiconductor layers and the radioisotope ray source coated on the both sides.
