Abstract: A method for detecting metal ions and chemical/biochemical molecules is provided. The method includes providing a probe, wherein the probe includes: a gold nanocluster; a reducing agent and a chelating agent partially capped on a surface of the gold nanocluster, wherein the probe is formed of reducing gold ions by the reducing agent, and the gold ions and the reducing agent have a molar ratio of 1:0.7 to 1:1.9. The probe may interact with several metal ions of an aqueous solution to produce different changes of fluorescent spectra. Chemical/biochemical molecules can be detected by the fluorescent spectra difference caused by the interaction between the metal ions and the chemical/biochemical molecules.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a passive device and manufacturing method thereof. A capacitor according to the present invention includes: a capacitor thin film pattern formed on the upper surface of a substrate; a plurality of trenches formed by etching the substrate formed with the capacitor thin film pattern which defines the unit area of the capacitor; an insulation layer, which fills the trench, formed with capacitor interconnection holes for exposing the metal layers formed in the substrate and constituting the capacitor; and a plurality of capacitor electrode interconnection wires formed by filling the capacitor interconnection holes with a conductive material, wherein the lower surface of the substrate is being polished in a way that the insulation layer formed in the trenches is exposed.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an oil-in-water emulsion containing no surfactant, which comprises a metabolizable oil phase, an aqueous phase and oil-water amphipathic solid particles dispersed in the aqueous phase and having biocompatibility, wherein the oil phase comprises squalene or/and tocol; the aqueous phase is any one selected from the group consisting of purified water, water for injection, glycerine aqueous solution, buffering salts aqueous solution or clinically usable transfusion, or the combination of at least two selected therefrom; the solid particles have an average particle size in a scale of from nanometer to micrometer. The emulsion of the present invention can be used as vaccine adjuvant, drug delivery carrier or sustained/controlled-release carrier, and have the controllable properties. The resultant emulsion is stable, avoids the use of surfactants and can reduce the human poisoning and environmental pollution.

Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for refining titanium scraps and sponge titanium, which can remove oxygen from a melt by supplying a deoxidizing gas to the surface of the melt in order to refine titanium scraps and sponge titanium. Abstract: A grounding grid breakpoint diagnostic method for a transient electromagnetic method, based on a transient electromagnetic detection apparatus. At least one cross-talk filter layer of material can be disposed in the substrate adjacent to the photodiode structures, including a material that absorbs radiation in the substrate that is produced by photodiodes in the array.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for detection of hazardous chemicals in a non-metallic container. The method comprises of irradiating the sample at a predefined location with an electromagnetic radiation of specific wavelength; selectively capturing a certain component of the scattered electromagnetic radiation to obtain a plurality of profiles; and filtering the profiles to obtain a signature specific to at least one hazardous chemical present in the container. The invention provides a system for obtaining a signature specific to the hazardous chemicals in the container.
