Abstract: The present invention relates to a metal catalyst composition for producing furfural derivatives from raw materials of lignocellulosic biomass, and method for producing furfural derivatives using the composition. The present invention comprises ruthenium chloride (RuCl3) and chromium chloride (CrCl2). The chromium chloride (CCl2) is from 300 to 500 parts by weight on the basis of 100 parts by weight of the ruthenium chloride (RuCl3). Unlike conventional furfural derivatives producing process that should go through multi step processes such as pre-process, saccharification process, etc, the present invention has an advantage of producing furfural derivatives from lignocellulosic raw material only through simple reaction process in one reaction apparatus by mixing various kinds of metal catalyst at an optimum ratio.

Abstract: The attenuation and other optical properties of a medium are exploited to measure a thickness of the medium between a sensor and a target surface. Abstract: Disclosed is a direct-type driving module of a differential gear for an electric vehicle, which is configured to directly connect a driving shaft of a driving motor to a driving bevel gear without a decelerator. In the direct-type driving module according to the present invention, the driving axel of the driving motor is connected to a driving bevel gear geared with the differential gear through a coupler, thereby easily adapting to the change of a driving axel. In addition, a rotator of the driving motor can be prevented from being compressed or applied with a tensile load due to an external force applied to a driving axel installed in a direct-type driving method, thereby increasing durability of the driving motor.

Abstract: An in-situ fabrication method for a silicon solar cell includes the following steps: pretreating a silicon chip; placing the pretreated silicon chip in an implantation chamber of a plasma immersion ion implantation machine; completing the preparation of black silicon via a plasma immersion ion implantation process; making a PN junction and forming a passivation layer on the black silicon; after making the PN junction and forming the passivation layer, removing the black silicon from the plasma immersion ion implantation machine; preparing a metal back electrode on the back of the black silicon; preparing a metal grid on the passivation layer; obtaining a solar cell after encapsulation. Said method enables black silicon preparation, PN junction preparation, and passivation layer formation in-situ, greatly reducing the amount of equipment needed for the preparation of solar cells and the preparation cost. In addition, the method is simple and easy to control.

Abstract: Disclosed are novel antimicrobial peptides which can promote the regeneration of skin cells, thus healing wounds. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising the peptides as active ingredients are also provided for wound healing and skin rejuvenation. The antimicrobial peptides exhibit inhibitory activity against antibiotic-resistant strains, and their antimicrobial activity is maintained without loss of structural stability even under a high salt condition. Also, being proven to promote the migration and regeneration of skin cells in mice as well as in vitro, the antimicrobial peptides may be widely used as an agent for regenerating skin cells. Further, they can find applications in various fields including the medical industry and the cosmetic industry. Hence, the novel antimicrobial peptides are anticipated to have considerable repercussions in the market for antibiotics, wound healing agents and cosmetics.
