    Abstract: A method for transmitting a handover security context of a first access point, when an access terminal from a service cell of a first access point is connected to a packet access router, to a service cell of a second access point connected to the packet access router, is provided. The handover security context transmitting method includes confirming whether a handover confirmation message transmitted from the access terminal has a security context therein; when the handover confirmation message has a security context therein, confirming whether the security context has security-related information therein; when the security context has security-related information therein, confirming whether the security context has a traffic-related key or a pairwise master key; and transmitting an information instruction message including the security related information confirmed in the security context, the security-related information, the traffic-related key, and the pairwise master key through the PAR to the second AP.

    Abstract: An ICI cancellation iterative receiver and an ICI cancellation method in the wireless communication system is provided. In order to eliminate the Inter-carrier-interference (ICI) due to phase noise, an adaptive ICI cancellation scheme based on the wireless communication system is presented. In order to correct the contaminated preamble symbols due to phase noise, a first LMS adaptive filter in the receiver cancels the ICI. In the following data symbols of a frame, joint of the turbo decoder and channel estimation is provided. The complexity of the joint algorithm is analyzed and the algorithm can be implemented in the wireless communication system. The simulation results show that the performance can be improved dramatically.

    Abstract: A nanocrystal with high light absorption efficiency and a broad absorption spectrum, and a photovoltaic device comprising the nanocrystal are disclosed. The nanocrystal of the present invention comprises a core, a first shell grown and formed on the surface of the core, and a second shell grown and formed on the surface of the core or the surface of the first shell. Besides, the core, the first shell, and the second shell are a low energy gap material, a middle energy gap material, and a high energy gap material, respectively. Therefore, the nanocrystal has a great absorption in the ultraviolet range, the visible light range, and the infrared range; and the solar spectrum can be converted effectively to improve the light conversion efficiency thereof.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a scheduling method and device for guaranteeing a voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) quality of service (QoS) in a portable Internet system. In the portable Internet system, when a packet for connecting a session between a base station and a portable Internet terminal is input for a VoIP service between a VoIP terminal and a portable Internet terminal, the session is connected by transmitting/receiving the packet through a management connection of a media access control (MAC) layer. In addition, an unsolicited grant service (UGS) connection is established between the base station and the portable Internet terminal after connecting the session between the base station and the portable Internet terminal. Then, the packet including data for the VoIP service is transmitted/received through the UGS connection to perform a voice call. Accordingly, a high quality VoIP service may be provided in a bad propagation environment.

    Abstract: A long-term antibiotic and deodorant textile with mesoporous structure and processing method thereof are provided. At first, a textile is dipped into an aqueous solution of a surfactant containing nanoparticles. An aqueous solution of a silicon source is prepared and its pH value is adjusted to about 5˜9. Then, the aqueous solution of the surfactant and the aqueous solution of the silicon source are mixed to form a mixture solution. The mixture solution is stirred until silica powder form therein.     Abstract: A nano-indentation ultrasonic detecting system for detecting mechanical properties of a target material. An indentation device, disposed on a surface of the target material, generates an indentation on the surface, obtaining the relation between the Young's modulus and the Poisson's ratio of the target material. An ultrasonic generator is movably disposed on the surface of the target material, generating at least two different ultrasonic signals thereon. An ultrasonic receiver is disposed on the surface of the target material and separated from the ultrasonic generator, receiving the ultrasonic signals. The result of a nano-indentation experiment are applied in the ultrasonic theory and iterated by the ultrasonic experimental data and theory, obtaining the Young's modulus of the target material. The obtained Young's modulus of the target material is substituted back in the result of the nano-indentation experiment, obtaining the Poisson's ratio of the target material.

    Abstract: A heat-pipe electric-power generating device capable of converting thermal energy to electrical energy is provided.
