Publication number: 20070155378Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for searching and releasing an abnormal subscriber station in a wireless portable Internet system, and an apparatus using the same. The apparatus searches for an abnormal group including abnormal subscriber stations based on a ranging code provided in a periodic ranging process, and searches for an abnormal subscriber station by transmitting a connection maintenance message to subscriber stations included in the abnormal group so as to check an operation status of the respective subscriber stations. In addition, the apparatus releases a connection of an abnormal subscriber station. Therefore, waste of radio resources allocated to the abnormal subscriber station can be prevented, thereby achieving efficient resource management. Further, a secondary search process is performed only for subscriber stations included in an abnormal group, thereby preventing a system load from occurring when searching for an abnormal subscriber station.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 11, 2006Publication date: July 5, 2007Applicants: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD., Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute, KT Corporation, SK TELECOM CO., LTD, HANARO TELECOM., INC.Inventors: Sook-Jin Lee, Sung-Cheol Chang, Eun-Kyung Kim, Kyung-Soo Kim

Publication number: 20070156813Abstract: A collaborative system that includes automatic monitoring and management of reflector/servers and clients. The reflectors are in a logical cluster although their physical locations may be anywhere in the world. Reflector to reflector performance and status is continuously monitored. If a reflector-to-reflector link goes down or is underperforming, the reflector cluster is rerouted to provide desired performance. Clients are monitored and provide information via the network to register/management servers. A best path for the client capabilities is calculated and established. If network performance deteriorates, there are a tiered selection of session modifications that are initiated to compensate. These include reducing video detail levels, reducing number of video streams, reducing size of video windows, adjusting frame rate, and other corrective measures. Publication number: 20070153034Abstract: A circuit of a multiplexing inkjet print system and a control circuit thereof for driving a plurality of jet orifices. A signal generating unit generates an enable signal according to a first clock signal and data. Then, a counter counts according to the enable signal to generate a plurality of time counting signals for N decoders, wherein N is a positive integer equal to or greater than 2. The N decoders decode the received time counting signal to generate N groups of start signals. Moreover, a shift register shifts data according to the enable signal and a second clock signal (or according to the first and the third clock signals) to generate i address signals, wherein i is a positive integer. Therefore, each of the heater circuits is driven under the control of an address signal and one of start signals of each group, thereby driving the corresponding jet orifice.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2006Publication date: July 5, 2007Applicant: INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH INSTITUTEInventors: Jian-Chiun Liou, Ching-Yi Mao, Chun-Jung Chen
