    Abstract: Provided is a method of fabricating a see-through thin film solar cell, the method including preparing a substrate including a molybdenum (Mo) layer on one surface, forming see-through patterns by selectively removing at least parts of the Mo layer, sequentially depositing a chalcogenide absorber layer, a buffer layer, and a transparent electrode layer on the substrate and the Mo layer including the see-through patterns, and forming a see-through array according to a shape of the see-through patterns by removing the chalcogenide absorber layer, the buffer layer, and the transparent electrode layer deposited on the see-through patterns, by irradiating a laser beam from under the substrate toward the transparent electrode layer.

In some embodiments, the detector comprises a FET that changes state upon detection of a subject condition of interest. The change in the FET may change the resonance frequency of an associated LC or RLC circuit.

One embodiment selects a candidate sample set including a plurality of compositions and performs the following operations iteratively: (1) selects an acquisition sample set, (2) performs a dark electrocatalyst experiment or a photo-electrocatalyst experiment on the compositions in the acquisition sample set to determine one or more properties, (3) trains a machine learning model using the one or more properties, and (4) predicts, based at least in part on one or more outputs of the machine learning model, the one or more properties for one or more compositions in a test sample set including compositions on which an experiment has not yet been performed. When one or more predetermined termination criteria have been satisfied, the embodiment also identifies one or more compositions in the candidate sample set for which the one or more properties satisfy predetermined performance criteria.

The mixed conductive fillers are formed by mixing one-dimensional conductive fillers and two-dimensional conductive fillers. The conductive polymer composite is applied on the mold such that the conductive polymer composite is injected into the plurality of holes. A conductive dry adhesive structure including a plurality of micropillars corresponding to the plurality of holes is obtained by performing a post-treatment on the conductive polymer composite applied on the mold and by removing the mold. Each of the plurality of micropillars includes a body portion and a tip portion.

The present invention is advantageous in that a signal field which is transmitted together with the data being transmitted from the sender terminal to the receiver terminal in the MIMO system can be sent more efficiently.

    Abstract: A module has electronic components mounted to a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) with multiple patterned conductive layers connecting to conductive slot metal around a conductive slot. A groove is cut through a top molding encapsulant above and into the conductive slot but does not cut through a bottom molding encapsulant. A terminal pin is inserted into the groove and pushed down into the conductive slot. When heated, embedded solder previously applied to the conductive slot metal flows between the end of the terminal pin and the conductive slot metal to form a solder bond. An end of the PCB past the conductive slot has no metal traces, preventing shorts. Epoxy can be placed into the groove around the terminal pin or a hole formed in the terminal pin to increase strength of the anchored terminal pin. The molding around the groove protects terminal pins from shorting from the side.

Alternatively, a discrepancy training data set is computed from one of the normal and abnormal data sets and be used to train one of independent normal and abnormal data regression models; with the other one trained by transfer learning based on the trained one. The trained regression models are then used to predict discrepancy values.

    Abstract: A photovoltaic (PV) cell health monitoring apparatus includes a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag mounted to the PV cell and having identifying information of the PV cell, and a sensor in communication with the RFID tag for measuring health information of the PV cell. The RFID tag stores the measured health information together with time and locality information of the PV cell and responds to an interrogation signal by transmitting the stored information together with the identifying information. A dust sensor in the form of a comb-like electrode array measures electrical capacitance as an indication of an amount of dust on an exposed surface of the PV cell. An RFID tag antenna arranged as a meander-line patch antenna covered with polyethylene has a dual function as a temperature sensor.

Each of the two phases is characterized by a relatively small crystallite size of typically less than about 50 nm (500 Angstroms). Preferably the sorbents are prepared by using an alkali metal base to convert a precursor mixture, containing a precipitated zinc oxide precursor and a precipitated aluminum oxide precursor, to the two-phase, active zinc oxide containing component, with the resulting sorbent having a sodium level within a desired range.
