Abstract: An MPEG media transport (MMT) apparatus and method for processing stereoscopic video data are provided. The MMT apparatus includes an asset file generator configured to generate a single asset file that contains an entire or part of the stereoscopic video data; and a signaling message generator configured to generate a signaling message for delivery or consumption of the stereoscopic video data. At least one of the generated single asset file and the generated signaling message contains stereoscopic video information related to the stereoscopic video data.

Abstract: An exoskeleton device for rehabilitation of distal joints of an upper limb of a patient is described. The exoskeleton device includes a multi-bar linkage and a first platform to support fingers of the patient. The exoskeleton device includes a second platform to support a palm of the patient. The first platform and the second platform are coupled to the multi-bar linkage. The exoskeleton device also includes a transmission unit to drive the multi-bar linkage to move the first platform and the second platform to provide flexion and extension of the distal joints of the upper limb of the patient. Abstract: The present system and method allow for accurate estimation of angle and angle rate for a target using a slewing antenna. These issues are accounted for by using a special form of non-coherent integration. An extension of the non-coherent integration may be used to estimate the target's angle rates. This technique can also be expanded to determine whether a target is in the main lobe or in a side lobe in one or two directions.
Abstract: A graphical user interface allowing one or more users to rapidly perceive and respond to varying operational states. Glyphs depicting differing levels of detail are provided for a top-level manager versus a lower-level operator. As applied to the vehicle paradigm, each individual glyph presents information as to the vehicle's current assigned task, mode, state, status, and its progress in completing that task. Each display shows multiple glyphs representing multiple vehicles. A vehicle in need of attention rises in the depiction whereas a vehicle not needing attention remains in a low position.

Abstract: A gas-fired instantaneous water heater including a thermoelectric generator (TEG) and a heat pump that is powered by the TEG to improve efficiency compared to existing water heaters. Abstract: The present specification relates to a device and method for transmitting an uplink control channel in a wireless communication system. Abstract: Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are destroyed by oxidation in supercritical conditions. PFAS in water can be concentrated and prepared for destruction in a pretreatment phase. Following annihilation of the PFAS in supercritical conditions to levels below 5 parts per trillion (ppt), the water effluent can be used to recover heat, returned to sub-critical conditions, and then released back into the environment.
