Abstract: One or more cables are axially, laterally, and/or rotationally secured to an anchor member. A plug connector can be assembled to or around the anchor member. The anchor member also can be used to handle the cable prior to assembling the plug connector. A connectorization system for assembling plug connectors includes multiple types/sizes of cables; optionally types/sizes of plug bodies; and the anchor member sized and shaped to connect a selected one of any of the cables with any of the plug bodies of the connectorization system.
Abstract: A planned acceleration of a vehicle and a predicted optimal acceleration of a target is determined. Upon determining that an actual acceleration of the target differs from the predicted optimal acceleration, the planned acceleration of the vehicle is revised based on the actual acceleration of the target. The foregoing steps can be implemented by a vehicle computer according to program instructions stored in a memory of the vehicle computer. The vehicle can include sensors, actuators, and/or controllers in communication with the computer via a vehicle communication network.

Abstract: Methods and systems for operating an engine that includes a controller and a NOx sensor are described. In one example, output of the NOx sensor is selectively made available to software modules within the controller when an offset in NOx sensor output is not expected. If the offset in NOx sensor output is expected, the NOx sensor output may not be made available to the software modules.

Abstract: A filtration system interconnection structure having a filter manifold and a filter cartridge in magnetic communication with one another, such that a latching mechanism and latch blocking structure in the manifold secures the filter cartridge with a manifold sump when the filter cartridge is inserted within the manifold sump. The magnetic communication is formed between two complementary coded magnets capable of producing a magnetic shear force when in close proximity to one another. The magnetic shear force removes the latching blocking structure from interfering with the latch, allowing the latch to secure the filter cartridge. Movement of the latching blocking structure coded magnet relative to the filter cartridge coded magnet may be perpendicular or parallel with respect to each other.

Abstract: Processor-based systems employing local dynamic power management based on controlling performance and operating power consumption, and related methods. The processor-based system is configured to locally manage its power consumption by dynamically adjusting operating frequency and/or operating voltage of power supplied to the processor-based system. The processor-based system includes a power control circuit that is aware of the overall power budget for the processor-based system. The control processor in the processor-based system can dynamically increase the voltage level of the power supplied to the processor-based system and/or the operating frequency if the consumed power is lower than the power budget. The power control circuit can also dynamically decrease the operating frequency and/or the voltage level of the power supplied to the processor-based system if the consumed power is higher than the power budget.
