Abstract: A thermal energy recovery system. The system includes a Stirling engine having a burner thermal energy output. Also, a superheater mechanism for heating the thermal energy output and an expansion engine coupled to a generator. The expansion engine converts the thermal energy output from the burner to mechanical energy output. The generator converts mechanical energy output from the expansion engine to electrical energy output. The expansion engine may also includes vapor output. Some embodiments of the system further include a condenser for condensing the vapor output, a pump for pumping the vapor output and a boiler in fluid communication with the pump. The pump pumps the vapor output to the boiler.
Abstract: A drain trap comprising a lid and bowl where the lid further comprises a central inlet flow tube which discharges into the bowl at a distance above the inner surface of the base of the bowl. Fluid entering through the flow tube and into the bowl fills the interior until the water level reaches the discharge opening to exit from the drain trap. Water flow is in the annular space between the inner surface of the bowl and the exterior surface of the tube.
Abstract: An adjustable butt stock adapter assembly may provide for vertical and rotational adjustment. A serrated plate may be positioned between an adapter with grooves for establishing a rotational position with the serrated plate, and a butt plate having serrations for establishing a vertical relationship with the serrated plate. The serrated plate may be operatively attached to a spring collar mounted in the adapter, such that pulling the serrated plate away from the collar and adapter overcomes the spring force and allows for adjustment of the rotational position. The butt plate may connect to the serrated plate through an engagement mechanism, such that disengaging the engagement mechanism allows for adjustment of the vertical position.

Abstract: A boat cover for a suspended cover system that is configured to fit a boat in a manner that prevents relative movement therebetween minimizing wear. The cover has at least one fitting seam that follows part of the top of the boat. An integral cover cinching arrangement enables tightening the bottom of the cover against the hull bugging it. Vents overlying a passenger section minimize wind force by reducing cover pressure differential. The cover can be equipped with a second fitting seam that extends along the gunwale of the boat and can have a downwardly extending fitting seam section that extends below the gunwale toward the bow to help fit the cover to the front portion of the hull of the boat. Stretchable straps used to hang the cover from a track of the boat cover system can be used to minimize force on the cover caused by wave action.
Abstract: The system (30) includes a product engager (32), a transporter (34) and a patterned depositor (36) for engaging products (38) and transporting the products (38) from the product engager (32) to the patterned depositor (36), such as between a product bagging machine (56) that forms and fills a bag (24), a conveyor that transports the bags as the products (38) and delivers them to a case packing machine as the patterned depositor (36). The product engager (32) and the patterned depositor (36) include first and second drivers (46, 48) and the transporter (34) includes an adjustable-length buffer (50) to compensate for any temporary difference between a first product delivery rate of the product engager (32) and a rate of movement of the products (38) passing from the product engager (32) along the transporter (34) to the patterned depositor (36).

Abstract: A jewelry article with two member arms are connected at one end by a pivotable joint at the opposite end the arms are provided with posts that carry an insert between the two arms by extending into the recess of a bore-through of the insert where they are securely connected by magnets. A corresponding thread at the post and in the insert provides additional security for the placement of the insert. A leaf spring further provided in the hinge connection of the two member jewelry item to further ensure the secure closing of the jewelry item.
Abstract: A mattress wherein a plurality of independent yarn based fire barrier fabrics encases a plurality of distinct and unattached interior core structures. The plurality of interior core structures include at least a detached and internally flippable upper comfort layer assembly with a plurality of non-homogeneous foams or filling materials encased in a yarn-based fire barrier fabric and a lower, interiorly disposed support core structure with resilient filling materials encased in a yarn-based fire barrier fabric and a fabric cover. The detachable and internally flippable upper comfort layer assembly may be contained in a user accessible compartment that is fashioned into an outer cover assembly.

Abstract: A pendant formed of separable segments along a substantially diagonal line in which the segments have a mechanical interlock formed of a member physically attached to the rear portion of one of the segments and having a tab which fits into a recess formed in the rear of the second of said tabs such as the segments may not be physically separated in the horizontal direction one from the other.
Abstract: A toy throwing disk is configured for spinning about a rotational axis during flight and for producing bubbles during the spinning flight. The disk includes a bubble solution reservoir with outlets, aperture arrays receive bubble solution from the reservoir through conduits and cooperating with passing air during the spinning flight to convert the bubble solution into bubbles. The conduits include an adaptation of hydrostatic valving to control the delivery of the bubble solution and prevent leaking.
Abstract: A loading apparatus for use with a firearm, which may be most suited for use with a bolt-action rifle having an internal magazine. The loading apparatus comprises an arcuate shaped body having a coextensive track, flap member, and access slot, and a guidance element, all of which combine to provide an apparatus that increases the ease and speed of loading the firearm.
Abstract: A woody biomass baler having a baling chamber adapted to receive woody biomass material and a compression system adapted to compact the material into a parallelepiped bale in the baling chamber, wherein the baling chamber has a front wall that acts as a reciprocating compression platen corresponding in dimensions to the width W and height H of the bale, opposing upper and lower walls corresponding in dimensions to the length L and either of the W and H of the bale, and opposing sidewalls corresponding in dimensions to the L and the other of the W and H of the bale, and wherein each chamber wall selected from among the upper wall, the lower wall, and each of the sidewalls can withstand a distributed force perpendicular to the selected chamber wall of between (0.11×Pp psi×Aw) pounds and (0.3×Pp psi×Aw) pounds, wherein 0.11 and 0.
