  • Patent number: 11311220
Abstract: A device, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for identification of stress resilience. The method for identification of stress resilience includes stimulating a human subject by at least one of a plurality of stressful events in a virtual reality environment, acquiring multichannel real-time electroencephalograph (EEG) signals by an EEG monitor worn by a human subject, recording the real-time EEG signals received during the stressful event, transmitting the real-time EEG signals to a computing device. The computing device generates a plurality of filtered brain wave frequencies related to the stressful event by filtering the multichannel real-time EEG signals, classifies the brain wave frequencies by frequency level by applying the filtered brain wave frequencies to the deep learning model, applies each frequency level associated with the stressful event to the convolutional neural network, and identifies a level of stress resilience of the human subject associated with the stressful event.

  • Patent number: 11313344
Abstract: A convective power generation device is described based on thermal convection and thermal input energy. The energy generation device operates by heating wax and oil by heat from a solar concentrator or geothermal energy; as the weight of the wax becomes liquid that is lighter than the oil, the liquid wax moves up through a pathway; when the liquid wax reaches the top of the pathway, the cooler wax falls towards collecting cups mounted to a continuous belt and forces the belt downward to rotate the belt; when a collector cup of wax reaches the bottom of belt rotation, the wax falls to a reservoir; and the rotation of the belt drives a gearbox, which drives a generator to produce electric power. The convective power generation device has been shown to have higher energy conversion efficiency than photovoltaics.

  • Patent number: 11307003
Abstract: A system, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium that detects trajectories of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) approaching a protected site is described. Airborne defense agents (ADAs) located at a fixed radius from the protected and equidistant from one another detect acoustic signals emitted by an approaching UAV. Circuitry included in each ADA use the detected acoustic signals to determine a direction and a distance of each UAV. A base station having a control center (BS-CC) located in the protected site communicates with the ADAs to aggregate direction and distance data from the ADAs. Using the aggregated direction and distance data, the BS-CC predicts routes towards the protected site of the approaching UAV and alerts the protected site of the predicted route of the approaching UAV.

  • Patent number: 11307539
Abstract: A method and system for set point tracking control of an nth order integer control system. A first feedback compensated input signal is generated from an input signal, r(t), and a first negative feedback signal. A fractional order controller generates a set point modified signal from the first feedback compensated input signal. A second feedback compensated input signal is generated from the set point modified signal and a second negative feedback signal. A process variable is generated from the second feedback compensated input signal and applied to a non-linear plant which is affected by a disturbance which carries over into an output signal, y(t). An extended state observer receives the process variable and the output signal and generates the first second negative feedback and the second negative feedback signal to cancel the disturbance.
