Abstract: A technique of operating a network node of a multicast communication network comprising a plurality of network nodes which are interconnected with each other by communication links is provided, wherein the network node is associate with a common source network node. A method implementation of the technique comprises: determining a first path which connects the network node to the common source network node along a primary network tree, and determining a second path which connects the network node to the common source network node along a secondary network tree, wherein the first path and the second path show redundancy with respect to each other; receiving, at the network node, multicast data from the common source network node via the first path; triggering, by the network node, reception of multicast data from the common source network node via the second path if the network node detects a failure of the first path (e.g., determines that no multicast data is received via the first path).

Abstract: A radio module is disclosed that includes a baseband device, a layer device, and a multi radio antenna. The baseband device is arranged to perform digital modulation and/or demodulation. The baseband device provides a data connection available to a digital system using the radio module for radio communication. The multi radio antenna includes an analogue radio device arranged to perform analogue signal processing, and an antenna array connected to the analogue radio device. The layer device is arranged to map each baseband device to one or more of the at least one multi radio antennas, and the radio module is connectable to a second equivalent radio module. A corresponding radio assembly and method are also disclosed.

Abstract: A catheter assembly includes a single sleeve that constrains an expandable device to a dimension suitable for endoluminal delivery of the device to a treatment site, and further allows expansion of the device toward an outer peripheral dimension that is smaller than a fully deployed outer peripheral dimension to allow positioning of the device at the treatment site prior to full deployment and expansion of the device at the treatment site.

Abstract: Method and arrangement in a user equipment for transmitting scheduling requests to a base station. The base station is adapted to serve the user equipment. The user equipment is configured to transmit scheduling requests to the base station only at certain predetermined scheduling request opportunities. The method comprises triggering a scheduling request transmission, transmitting a scheduling request to the base station at the next occurring scheduling request opportunity, starting a scheduling request prohibiting timer and prohibiting any further scheduling request retransmission at future scheduling request opportunities while the scheduling request prohibiting timer is running. Also, a corresponding method and arrangement in a base station are described.

Abstract: The sensor is made on a semiconductor substrate covered with an electrically insulating layer. The electrically insulating layer separates a thermocouple from the substrate. It includes a first portion presenting a first value of capacitance per unit area and a second portion presenting a second value of capacitance per unit area, which is lower than the first value. The sensor includes first and second output terminals connected to the thermocouple. The first output terminal includes a first capacitor having a first electrode formed by a first leg made of an electrically conducting material. The second electrode of the capacitor is formed by a part of the substrate facing said first leg and separated from the first electrode by the first portion of the electrically insulating layer. The first leg connects the thermocouple while overlapping the second portion of the electrically insulating layer.

Abstract: An image destruct material comprises a release layer positioned between an image receiving layer and a base layer. The adhesion between the release layer and the base layer is greater than adhesion between the release layer and the image receiving layer. The release layer material can be used in secure documents that have an image receiving layer. After information is printed on the image receiving layer, an overlaminate is applied over it. Removal of the overlaminate destroys the printed image on the receiving layer because of the relative adhesive properties of the image receiving layer, overlaminate and release layer.

Abstract: A fuel cell including a stack of electrochemical cells and first and second end plates, an inside circuit for flowing deionized water inside the stack connected to an outside circuit for flowing deionized water outside the stack, the deionized water forming a coolant, a circuit for supplying hydrogen to the cells and a circuit for supplying air to the cells, and a casing mounted to the first end plate and forming a tight volume at least partially filled with water where the inside circuit emerges for flowing the coolant. The circuits for supplying air and hydrogen pass through the tight volume and are dipped into the deionized water to exchange heat with the deionized water. A portion of the supply circuit enables air to be humidified with water contained in the tight volume.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method for preparing an air electrode based on Pr2-xNiO4 with 0?x<2, comprising a step consisting in sintering a ceramic ink comprising Pr2-xNiO4 and a pore-forming agent at a temperature above 1000° C. and below or equal to 1150° C. This invention also relates to the air electrode thus obtained and its uses.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include a method for providing UE session resilience performed in a first PDN-GW that is coupled to a second PDN-GW, which are both in a PDN-GW pool. The method provides UE session resilience by allowing the first PDN-GW to provide connectivity for UE sessions previously serviced by the second PDN-GW after the second PDN-GW becomes non-operational. The first PDN-GW recognizes that the second PDN-GW failed and then activates a plurality of standby UE sessions. Each standby UE session is a backup UE session corresponding to a previously active UE session serviced on the second PDN-GW. Each standby UE session is associated with a UE device and a network resource identifier of an APN slice. The first PDN-GW transmits a message to a SGW that is servicing the UE sessions that indicates that the SGW should direct traffic previously bound for the second PDN-GW to the first PDN-GW.

Abstract: A functional TFE copolymer fine powder is described, wherein the TFE copolymer is a polymer of TFE and at least one functional comonomer, and wherein the TFE copolymer has functional groups that are pendant to the polymer chain. The functional TFE copolymer fine powder resin is paste extrudable and expandable. Methods for making the functional TFE copolymer are also described. The expanded functional TFE copolymer material may be post-reacted after expansion.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for operating combustion process in a furnace whereby a primary fuel and a secondary fuel are burnt, to an apparatus for injecting liquid oxygen into the furnace and also to the corresponding furnace. The method comprises at least the following steps: the primary fuel and a primary oxidizer are injected into the furnace to create a primary combustion zone, liquid oxygen is injected in as secondary oxidizer such that the secondary fuel combusts with the secondary oxidizer thereby creating a distinct secondary combustion zone. The invention makes it possible for a secondary fuel having a significantly lower calorific value than the primary fuel to be burnt completely in the furnace, such that a product to be produced in the furnace has an improved quality.

Abstract: It is presented a hybrid media receiver capable of receiving broadcast media content using a first broadcast media network and a second broadcast media network, wherein the first broadcast media network complies with Internet Protocol Television, IPTV. The hybrid media receiver comprises: a content type receiver arranged to receive a first content type identifier and a second content type identifier, corresponding to the first broadcast media network and the second broadcast media network, respectively; and a channel data obtainer arranged to obtain, using the first content type identifier, a first list of scheduled media channels available to the hybrid media receiver over the first broadcast media network; and to obtain, using the second content type identifier, a second list of scheduled media channels available to the hybrid media receiver over the second broadcast media network. A corresponding middleware server, methods, computer programs and computer program products are also presented.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a receiver in a 2×2 Line of Sight Multiple Input Multiple Output, LoS MIMO, system. The receiver is arranged to estimate a first (?1) and a second (?2) signal on the basis of a first (r1(t)) and a second (r2(t)) signal received from respective first and second transmitters (Tx1,Tx2). Said received signals (r1(t), r2(t) comprises a first and second signal. The receiver comprises a first Phase Locked Loop (11), PLL, and a second PLL (12), which are arranged to respectively determine a first (In1) and second (In2) demodulated signal from the first (r1(t)) and the second (r2(t)) received signals. The receiver further comprises an equalizer (13) which is arranged to estimate the first (S1) and second (S2) signals from the demodulated signals (In1,In2).

Abstract: A method is implemented in a network element that functions as one of a plurality of controllers for one of a plurality of areas of a split architecture network. The controller provides a control plane for the area of the split architecture network where the controller is remote from a plurality of switches providing a data plane for the area of split architecture network. The controller facilitates optimized routing across the plurality of areas of the split architecture network by providing limited intra-area link cost data to other controllers of other areas of the split architecture network and to traditional routers of a network including the split architecture network. The limited intra-area link cost data provides costs of each possible shortest path traversal of the area of the controller without providing all internal link cost data.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for assessing user interest scores of users of a mobile network are provided. A method includes for each of a plurality of users (A) determining initial interest scores corresponding to user's interests and interest scores of friends of the user for the user's interests, based on browsing information, and (B) assessing user's interest scores based on the initial interest scores, the interest scores of the friends and friends' influence. The method further includes outputting a list including a subset of the users selected based on the user's interest scores.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing two series-connected photovoltaic cells includes: forming an insulating substrate; forming a stack including; a first conductive layer formed on the substrate; a semiconductor layer comprising a first absorption layer and a second semiconductor layer forming a junction with the first absorption layer; and a second transparent conductive layer, formed on the absorption layer; forming an area dividing the stack into two cells series-connected by an electric path. The forming of said path comprises: forming a first trench all the way to the substrate; forming a second trench all the way to the first conductive layer; and depositing a conductive solution on the first trench and at last a portion of the second trench, so that the solution does not penetrate into the first trench all the way to the first conductive layer and penetrates into the second trench all the way to the first conductive layer.

Abstract: The invention provides a sub-rack mounting bracket for mounting an electrical device sub-rack to an electrical device rack. The sub-rack mounting bracket has an intermediate portion arranged between a first planar portion and a second planar portion of the sub-rack mounting bracket. The first portion, second portion and intermediate portion extend throughout the length of the sub-rack mounting bracket. The Intermediate portion is formed of a sheet material shaped so as to reduce the amplitude of vibrations transmitted to the sub-rack through the sub-rack mounting bracket during use. The invention also provides an assembly of an electrical device sub-rack and at least one sub-rack mounting bracket in accordance with an embodiment of the invention secured to the electrical device sub-rack.
