Abstract: Methods and arrangements in video handling entities for transforming an MVC bit stream to an AVC bit stream and vice versa. The methods and arrangements involve modification of reference data in an obtained bit stream and thus transforming the bit stream into another format. The suggested solution is a low complexity procedure, and thus much faster than e.g. transcoding of a bit stream into another format.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for managing the supply of cryogenic liquid to a truck for transporting heat-sensitive materials, said truck implementing a method using said cryogenic liquid to transfer negative calories to the materials. Said method is a so-called indirect-injection method in which the liquid is fed into a heat-exchanger system located inside the truck, where said liquid evaporates. The transfer of cold to the materials is achieved by means of an exchange between the atmosphere surrounding the materials and the cold walls of the heat-exchanger system, characterized in that the heat-exchanger system is supplied with cryogenic liquid by implementing the following measures: an upstream two-position valve, generally closed, is placed upstream from the heat-exchanger system; a proportional analog valve, generally open, is placed downstream from the heat-exchanger system; and a downstream two-position valve, generally open, is placed downstream from the analog valve.

Abstract: A technique for self-interference suppression control for a relay node is provided. The relay node comprises a transmitter and a receiver, and is adapted to transmit and received simultaneously using the same frequency channel or using proximate frequency channels. The relay node further comprises an interference signal estimator having a first input adapted to receive a transmitter signal from the transmitter, a second input adapted to receive adaptation metric and an output adapted to output an estimated interference signal generated by the interference signal estimator based on the transmitter signal and the adaptation metric. A subtractor is coupled to the output of interference signal estimator and configured to subtract the estimated interference signal from a received signal in the receiver so as to actively cancel a signal transmitted from the relay node that leaks back into the receiver of the relay node to suppress self-interference.

An improved acoustic attenuation material may include a woven layer of fibers made of porous polymers, such as porous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), that include interstitial space. An improved acoustic attenuation material may include sheets of porous polymers interleaved with layers of epoxy. The sheets of porous polymers may include through holes. An embodiment of an ultrasonic transducer that includes a backing with woven layers of porous PTFE fibers is provided. The ultrasonic transducer that includes a backing with woven layers of porous PTFE fibers may be used in a three-dimensional ultrasound imaging apparatus. An embodiment of an ultrasonic transducer that includes a plurality of sheets of porous PTFE interleaved with layers of epoxy is provided. The ultrasonic transducer that includes a plurality of sheets of porous PTFE may be used in an ultrasonic imaging catheter.

Abstract: Presented are methods for performing a constant time flow lookup utilizing parallel processing technology. The methods are suitable for multiprocessor and/or multi-core processor computing environments. The method generates hash table driven tables of exact flow matching patterns and then provides the generated tables to parallel processing based flow selection procedure that iteratively finds the highest priority flow from the exact flow matching patterns. The method is scalable based on the linear relationship between the number of processors and/or processor cores and the time required to perform the lookup. The method is also portable because it does not require any special or custom hardware typically associated with this type of lookup.

Abstract: According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of constructing an end-to-end routing path across multiple packet switched domains. The method comprises generating a domains topology identifying all possible domains, the border elements of those domains and the inter-domain links. When a request is received for computation of a path from a source entity in a first domain to a destination entity in a second domain, all domains and inter-domain links that cannot or are unlikely to feature in the requested path are removed from the domains topology. Candidate intra-domain paths for each remaining domain are then computed, with each candidate intra-domain path being mapped to a logical link defined by its two ends, at least one end being a border element and the other being a border element or the source or destination entity. Attributes for each logical link are determined, together with attributes of the remaining inter-domain links.

Abstract: A single IMPI is determined, allowing the progress of a terminating call that addresses a given IMPU shared by more than one IMPI of an IMS subscription. A number of policies are applied per IMPI basis on how to progress the terminating call. A HSS is provided where the policies are configured and, a method is disclosed including IMPU with a number of policies. Additionally, the method may also include a step of configuring at the HSS the more than one IMPI with a priority indication usable to set the order in which the more than one IMPI are checked to determine at least one for which the policies allow to progress the terminating call.
