Abstract: Method and arrangement in a relay node, for selecting communication mode. The relay node is configured to communicate with a base station via a donor antenna over a first link and to communicate with a user equipment via a coverage antenna over a second link. The method comprises obtaining an isolation value, based on the radio wave isolation between the relay donor antenna and the relay coverage antenna. The obtained isolation value is compared with an isolation threshold level value. The relay node is configured to communicate in full duplex mode if the obtained isolation value exceeds the isolation threshold level value, otherwise in half duplex mode. Information concerning the configured duplex mode of the relay node is transmitted to the base station. Also a method and arrangement in a base station is described.

Abstract: Presented are methods for performing a constant time flow lookup utilizing parallel processing technology. The methods are suitable for multiprocessor and/or multi-core processor computing environments. The method generates hash table driven tables of exact flow matching patterns and then provides the generated tables to parallel processing based flow selection procedure that iteratively finds the highest priority flow from the exact flow matching patterns. The method is scalable based on the linear relationship between the number of processors and/or processor cores and the time required to perform the lookup. The method is also portable because it does not require any special or custom hardware typically associated with this type of lookup.

Abstract: A method of facilitating access to a Host Identity Protocol security procedure by a host connected to a moving network, where the moving network comprises a Host Identity Protocol server responsible for allocating local IP addresses to attached hosts. The method comprises registering at a rendezvous server an IP address prefix for use by said Host Identity Protocol server in allocating said local addresses, together with an externally reachable IP address of the Host Identity Protocol server. The registered IP address prefix is used at the rendezvous server to forward received I1 messages to the Host Identity Protocol server. The rendezvous server controls the allocation and registration of address prefixes to Host Identity Protocol servers in order to prevent collision of local IP addresses.
