Abstract: A method for producing a flexible mechatronic system includes: a step of modeling the system by a mesh composed of a given combination of elementary blocks, each block being formed of a predefined assemblage of segments representing elementary beams, the mesh including at least one active block controllable by means of a control signal; a step of simulating the behavior of a terminal node of the model in open-loop response to a control signal; a step of characterizing the response by at least one static mechanical criterion and at least one numerical criterion representative of the decay of the resonance spikes of the response as a function of frequency. The above steps may be repeated. They are then followed by a step of selecting a design as a function of the criteria defined in the characterization step, the system being produced on the basis of the selected model.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for blind estimation of at least one parameter of an OFDM signal according to a maximum likelihood (ML) criterion. In one embodiment, the estimation method uses a deterministic maximum likelihood criterion. In another embodiment, the estimation method assumes that the modulation symbols modulating the sub-carriers of the OFDM multiplex are i.i.d. and Gaussian random variables. The estimation of said parameter is carried out while minimizing a cost function depending on the chosen criterion.

Abstract: Methods and arrangements in a network node and mobile terminal, respectively, in a wireless communication system supporting aggregation of component carriers. The method in a network node involves, when resources on at least two downlink component carriers are being assigned to a mobile terminal at the same time, allocating (908) control information bits not related to power control in a bit field, which is normally used for power control in a message on a physical downlink control channel associated with one of said at least two downlink component carriers. The method in a mobile terminal involves, using control information bits not related to power control obtained from a bit field, which is normally used for power control in a message on a physical downlink control channel associated with one of said at least two downlink component carriers, for locating information related to downlink or uplink transmissions.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement for controlling communication of data packets through one or more communication networks or network domains. It comprises means for identifying real-time or non-bursty data packet traffic, for separating real-time data packet traffic from bursty data packet traffic, for controlling the admission of real-time data packets and it further comprises or communicates with means for keeping information about the amount of real-time data packet flows that is admissible and for keeping information about current number of admitted and/or non-admitted real-time data packet flows. Means are also provided for establishing whether a packet or packets of a real-time data packet flow is/are admitted or not, such that generally all packets of a real-time IP data packet flow either can be admitted or rejected.
