  • Patent number: 5750796
Abstract: A method of producing alkylene oxide adduct comprises reacting an organic compound having one or more active hydrogen (for example, higher alcohol, amine, etc.) with alkylene oxide in the presence of an Al.Mg composite oxide catalyst. The catalyst can be obtained by calcining and activating aluminum magnesium hydroxide shown by nMgO.Al.sub.2 O.sub.3.mH.sub.2 O. In this method, a highly active reaction can be performed, and alkylene oxide adduct having very narrow alkylene oxide adduct molar distribution can be obtained. Since the load in a catalyst separating step is reduced, the catalyst can be efficiently separated. Therefore, the alkylene oxide adduct can be produced at low cost. In addition, the reaction can be performed at high speed, and the reaction time can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 5612106
Abstract: A laminated tube container has the body comprising a sheet material comprising a substrate, a silicon oxide deposited layer, a heat buffer layer and an extruded coating layer of a thermoadhesive resin which are successively formed in a laminate. The heat buffer layer prevents cracks from being produced in the silicon oxide deposited layer by the heat coming when the extruded coating layer of a thermoadhesive resin is laminated. The heat buffer layer is preferably formed by dry lamination or non-solvent lamination which requires no heating. An anchor coat layer may optionally be provided between the heat buffer layer and the extruded coating layer of a thermoadhesive resin so that the adhesion strength between these layers can be improved.
