  • Patent number: 10978160
Abstract: Example techniques that mitigate against memory hole shorts during an erase operation for memory cells in a string include an example method in which, during an erase operation, erase pulses are applied to the word lines of the memory string and terminated at different times based. In some instances, the erase pulses applied to the word lines of the memory string are terminated based on the temperature of the memory cells of the memory string. In further implementations, the erase pulses applied to the word lines of the memory string are boosted for different times depending on the location of the word line along the memory string during the erase operation.

  • Patent number: 10975266
Abstract: In some variations, the invention provides a curable adhesive formulation comprising a curable liquid precursor capable of frontal polymerization, wherein the liquid precursor comprises a monomer and a polymerization catalyst, and frontal-polymerization-triggering susceptors in contact with, or contained within, the liquid precursor. The susceptors may include conducting and/or magnetic solid particles capable of induction heating in the presence of a remotely applied electromagnetic field. Other variations provide a polymer-curing system comprising a curable liquid precursor, frontal-polymerization-triggering susceptors, and an apparatus configured to remotely produce an alternating electromagnetic field in line-of-sight with the susceptors (but not necessarily in line-of-sight with the liquid precursor), thereby generating induction heating to initiate the frontal polymerization. The susceptors may be about 0.1 wt % to about 50 wt % of the curable formulation.

  • Patent number: 10977519
Abstract: Data from one or more sensors is input to a workflow and fragmented to produce HyperFragments. The HyperFragments of input data are processed by a plurality of Distributed Experts, who make decisions about what is included in the HyperFragments or add details relating to elements included therein, producing tagged HyperFragments, which are maintained as tuples in a Semantic Database. Algorithms are applied to process the HyperFragments to create an event definition corresponding to a specific activity. Based on related activity included in historical data and on ground truth data, the event definition is refined to produce a more accurate event definition. The resulting refined event definition can then be used with the current input data to more accurately detect when the specific activity is being carried out.

  • Patent number: 10977851
Abstract: A computer system is used to host a virtual reality universe process in which multiple avatars are independently controlled in response to client input. The host provides coordinated motion information for defining coordinated movement between designated portions of multiple avatars, and an application responsive to detect conditions triggering a coordinated movement sequence between two or more avatars. During coordinated movement, user commands for controlling avatar movement may be in part used normally and in part ignored or otherwise processed to cause the involved avatars to respond in part to respective client input and in part to predefined coordinated movement information. Thus, users may be assisted with executing coordinated movement between multiple avatars.
