Abstract: Security provisioning is enabled at a communication device. A method can include: executing a high security application on a communication device based, at least, on detecting that high security is enabled for the communication device and detecting execution of a low security application; outputting, via a user interface (UI), information configured to detect an entry to the communication device; detecting an entry at the UI of the communication device; determining whether the entry corresponds to security access information stored in the communication device; and providing access to the communication device based, at least, on determining that the entry corresponds to the security access information.

Abstract: A method and apparatus that control lateral movement of the vehicle during backward motion are provided. The method includes loading a desired backward path of vehicle, the backward path comprising waypoints to be traveled along during a rearward motion of the vehicle, reflecting the waypoints along a reflection axis perpendicular to a longitudinal axis that runs from front to back of the vehicle such that the reflected waypoints define virtual forward path; and controlling lateral movement of the vehicle to follow the waypoints along the forward path while the vehicle is traveling in a backward direction.

Abstract: Examples for detecting anomalies in a dataset are provided herein. Abstract: Tracking of measured depth with intervening depositing of one or more layers provides a way of improving the accuracy of surface reconstruction. For example, knowledge of the desired or expected thickness of each layer, in combination with the scan data is combined to yield higher accuracy than is available from scan data of a single scan alone. One application of such an accurate surface reconstruction is in a feedback arrangement in which the desired thickness of one or more subsequent layers to be deposited after scanning is determined from the estimate of the surface depth and a model of the object that is being fabricated, and by increasing accuracy of the surface depth estimate, the precision of the fabrication of the object may be increased.
Abstract: Tie-down assemblies and methods of their use are provided. In one embodiment, a tie-down assembly may include a buckle, a first strap, and a second strap. The buckle may include a frame, a handle pivotably attached to the frame and configured to pivot about a first axis between an open position and a closed position, and a drum rotatably attached to the handle and configured to rotate about a second axis, wherein the second axis is spaced apart from and extends parallel to the first axis. The first strap may be attached to the frame, and the second strap may be configured to removably attach to the drum.
Abstract: A magnetic field monitor includes a magnetic field sensor that generates an electronic signal at a time period representing a magnetic field of the environment and includes a sensor transducer having a sensor bobbin, a primary coil, a secondary, over-winding coil, a sensor circuit, a controller connected to the primary coil, and a digitally controlled potentiometer connected to the secondary coil and controller. A non-linear output is converted to a quantitative linear output.
Abstract: A system for training a neural network. A switch is linked to feature detectors in at least some of the layers of the neural network. For each training case, the switch randomly selectively disables each of the feature detectors in accordance with a preconfigured probability. The weights from each training case are then normalized for applying the neural network to test data.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for managed object replication and delivery redirects, directly or indirectly, a client's request for an object that is not available at a best or optimal handling edge server of a network to a parent server that has the requested object. So, where the requested object is not available at the handling edge server, the client's request is redirected directly to the parent server that can provide the requested object to the client or indirectly via one or more parent servers to a parent server that can provide the requested object to the client. The method, system and computer program product further intelligently replicates the object to the edge server if the object is popular enough. Likewise, an object is removed from an edge server when it is no longer popular. All redirection and replication operations are preferably transparent to the end-user and do not degrade the quality of service.

The clamp arm is configured to couple or decouple with the shaft assembly when the first coupling member and the second coupling member are in the second position. The clamp arm is configured to pivot toward and away the ultrasonic blade about the pivot axis when the first coupling member and the second coupling member are in the first position.
