  • Patent number: 10787504
Abstract: The invention is directed to compositions and methods for stimulating, enhancing or modulating the immune system of a patient before or after infection by a pathogen, and in particular multidrug resistant (MDR) MTB and extremely drug resistant (XDR) MTB. Compositions of the invention contain non-naturally occurring antigens that generate an effective cellular and/or humoral immune response to MTB and/or antibodies that are specifically reactive to MTB antigens. The greater activity of the immune system generated by a vaccine of the invention increases generation of memory T cells that provide for a greater and/or extended response to an MTB infection. Responses involve an increased generation of antibodies that enhance immunity against MTB infection and promote an enhanced phagocytic response.

  • Patent number: 10786356
Abstract: A cardiac valve annulus may be constricted by using an apparatus to deliver a cord to the annulus, affixing the cord, and subsequently tightening that cord. In some embodiments, this apparatus includes an elongated core with a main channel, a set of first channels, and at least one second channel, all of which run through the core. The first channels accommodate pull wires for triggering the anchor launchers, and the second channels accommodate portions of the cord. Support arms extend distally beyond the core, and anchor launchers are mounted to each of these support arms. The support arms hold the distal ends of the anchor launchers at positions distributed about the annulus. The anchors are launched to affix the cord, and the cord is tightened in a subsequent procedure.

  • Patent number: 10789636
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for providing a list of frequently purchased items by a user from a retailer to a computing device corresponding to the user includes receiving a request to generate the list of frequently purchased items. A purchase history of the user is obtained in response to the request, the purchase history including a plurality of previously purchased items. A number of purchases for each of the purchased items within a predetermined time period is monitored. The list of frequently purchased items is generated based on the monitored number of purchases for each of the purchased items. The generated list of frequently purchased items is transmitted to the computing device.

  • Patent number: 10789510
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for using dynamic minibatch sizes during neural network training. One of the methods includes receiving, by each of a plurality of host computer, a respective batch of training examples, each training example having zero or more features, computing, by each host computer, a minimum number of minibatches into which the host computer can divide the respective batch of training examples so that the host computer can process each minibatch using an embedding layer of the neural network without exceeding available computing resources, determining a largest minimum number of minibatches (N) into which any host computer can divide its respective batch of training examples, generating, by each host computer, N minibatches from the respective batch of training examples received by the host computer, and processing, by each host computer, the N minibatches using the embedding layer.

  • Patent number: 10788000
Abstract: A system for aspirating a pre-cleaner of a work vehicle may include a fluid conduit in flow communication with an outlet port of the pre-cleaner for receiving an aspirated airflow from the pre-cleaner. The system may also include a double-walled flow pipe having an inner tube that receives a primary fluid flow of the work vehicle. The double-walled flow pipe may also include an outer tube surrounding the inner tube such that an annular passage is defined between the inner and outer tubes. The annular passage may be in flow communication with the fluid conduit. When a vacuum is applied to the annular passage, the aspirated airflow may be drawn through the fluid conduit from the pre-cleaner and directed to the annular passage. The aspirated airflow flows through the annular passage as the primary fluid flow is being directed through the inner tube.
