  • Patent number: 10790576
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure may be directed to a multi-layer feed-board with all the functional components, including phase shifters, diplexers, and dipole element, employed thereon. Therefore, solder interfaces at cable to functional component interfaces are no longer necessary. Instead, component interfaces are within the confines of the multi-layer feed-board, thereby reducing PIM issues attributed to solder joint interfaces.

  • Patent number: 10786360
Abstract: A prosthesis for implantation in a de-nucleated intervertebral disc includes a fiber ring-like layer which encloses a polymeric layer to create an annular space. The annular space is inflatable with an in-situ curable liquid polymer and forms an interior cavity. The annular space may be expanded uniformly or differentially to be tailored to the needs of a particular vertebral segment and to achieve optimal disc space width and angle, thereby stabilizing the segment while preserving normal motion of the vertebral segment. The interior cavity provides a void that allows inward deformation of the implant during weight bearing activities and bending. The prosthesis can be elastically deformed through axial elongation to a reduced profile to load into a delivery cannula using pulling techniques.

  • Patent number: 10789199
Abstract: Distributed computing systems, devices, and associated methods of packet routing are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a computing device includes a field programmable gate array (“FPGA”) that includes an inbound processing path and outbound processing path in opposite processing directions. The inbound processing path can forward a packet received from the computer network to a buffer on the FPGA instead of the NIC. The outbound processing path includes an outbound multiplexer having a rate limiter circuit that only forwards the received packet from the buffer back to the computer network when a virtual port corresponding to the packet has sufficient transmission allowance. The outbound multiplexer can also periodically increment the transmission allowance based on a target bandwidth for the virtual port.

  • Patent number: 10786210
Abstract: A method of adding sensing of moisture and other characteristics into a garment such as a diaper, incontinence garment, brief, or underwear is disclosed. The primary design intent is optimal moisture detection, low per unit cost, and wide-scale data analysis of groups of patients. The embodiments place various forms of electrodes within a garment, and measuring the electrical properties of the electrodes to determine if the garment has contacted moisture. The embodiments herein could be used for sensing incontinence, sensing perspiration, and detecting failure of protective garments, among other purposes. The target moisture is urine and feces; however, other sources of body moisture can also be sensed. A specialized mesh network achieves accuracy of the information obtained, as well as redundancy and timely updating of that information.

  • Patent number: 10789170
Abstract: Various techniques are directed to a storage management method, an electronic device and a computer readable medium. Such techniques may involve: receiving a request for a target storage block in a disk; obtaining, from a cache, a cache indicator indicating a state of a group of storage blocks including the target storage block, the number of bits occupied by the cache indicator in the cache being less than the number of storage blocks in the group of storage blocks; and responding to the request based on the cache indicator. Such techniques can reduce times of access to the disk and thereby enhancing input/output performance.

  • Patent number: 10788343
Abstract: A flow meter system for detecting the flow of a fluid between an inlet and an outlet. A top plate is coupled to the inlet and the outlet and a sensor is configured to detect the fluid flowing therebetween. A main module is coupled between the inlet and the outlet and has a main rotor configured to be rotated by the fluid flowing through the main module. An output shaft is coupled to the main rotor such that rotation of the main rotor causes rotation of the output shaft. A first spacer is removably coupled between the main module and the outlet. The first spacer is rotorless. The top plate defines an opening that receives the output shaft. The first spacer ensures alignment between the output shaft and the opening defined in the top plate. The sensor senses rotation of the output shaft to detect the flow of fluid.
