  • Patent number: 10786210
Abstract: A method of adding sensing of moisture and other characteristics into a garment such as a diaper, incontinence garment, brief, or underwear is disclosed. The primary design intent is optimal moisture detection, low per unit cost, and wide-scale data analysis of groups of patients. The embodiments place various forms of electrodes within a garment, and measuring the electrical properties of the electrodes to determine if the garment has contacted moisture. The embodiments herein could be used for sensing incontinence, sensing perspiration, and detecting failure of protective garments, among other purposes. The target moisture is urine and feces; however, other sources of body moisture can also be sensed. A specialized mesh network achieves accuracy of the information obtained, as well as redundancy and timely updating of that information.

  • Patent number: 10790003
Abstract: Techniques are described for maintaining a pre-charge voltage in a NAND string in a program operation. After a pre-charge voltage is applied to the channel of a NAND string, the word line voltages are controlled to avoid a large channel gradient which generates electron-hole pairs, where the electrons can pull down the channel boosting level on the drain side of the selected word line. In one approach, the word line voltages of a group of one or more source side word lines adjacent to the selected word line are increased directly from the level used during pre-charge to a pass voltage. The word line voltages of other source side word lines, and of drain side word lines, can be decreased and then increased to the pass voltage to provide a large voltage swing which couples up the channel.

  • Patent number: 10787504
Abstract: The invention is directed to compositions and methods for stimulating, enhancing or modulating the immune system of a patient before or after infection by a pathogen, and in particular multidrug resistant (MDR) MTB and extremely drug resistant (XDR) MTB. Compositions of the invention contain non-naturally occurring antigens that generate an effective cellular and/or humoral immune response to MTB and/or antibodies that are specifically reactive to MTB antigens. The greater activity of the immune system generated by a vaccine of the invention increases generation of memory T cells that provide for a greater and/or extended response to an MTB infection. Responses involve an increased generation of antibodies that enhance immunity against MTB infection and promote an enhanced phagocytic response.
