Abstract: An illustrative fraud deterrent method includes presenting an identity verification option for a first website displayed in a web-browser, the option including offering a login to a third-party website, unrelated to the first website. The method further includes receiving login information for a first user account on the third-party website and verifying the login information through a verification service associated with the third-party website, to verify that the login information is valid for the first user account, identified by the login information. The method additionally includes verifying an identity at the first website, responsive to the verification.
Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, devices, and machine-readable mediums that provide an ability for an entity to independently and securely commence, advance, and complete a resource allocation offer in a matter of minutes as opposed to weeks or months after an automated resource pre-committal process. The system, using and incorporating machine learning techniques and algorithms, may have several phases, including a pre-qualification phase, a setup phase, resource pre-committal phase, an import phase, a processing phase, a verification phase, a resource allocation offer phase, and a resource allocation phase in which the system allocates resources to a vendor. The system may also use a qualifying entity as a part of the pre-qualification phase to enter information which can be imported into the resource allocation system application.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to systems and methods for managing a database. In one or more examples, the system obtains input data comprising one or more data entries, where each data entry comprises one or more data items, and each data item comprises a field name and a field value. The system can generate a key-value set for each data item to obtain a plurality of key-value sets. Each key-value set includes at least a first key element comprising the field name of the respective data item and a second key element comprising the field value of the respective data item. The system can sort and store the plurality of key-value sets in the database. The system can further receive a query indicative of a field name or a field value, and generate, for display, an output based on retrieved key elements sets based on the query.
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for automatically augmenting message exchange threads based on a detected tone of messages exchanged between participants. In various implementations, a message contributed to a message exchange thread involving one or more message exchange clients by a participant may be determined. In various implementations, an idle chatter score associated with the message may be calculated. In various implementations, either a conversational response to the message or content responsive to a search query generated based on the message may be selectively incorporated into the message exchange thread based at least in part on the idle chatter score. In some implementations, a search query suitability score associated with the message may also be calculated.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and media for providing search suggestions are provided. In accordance with some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving user input that includes a partial search query; identifying a group of candidate search suggestions; determining whether each candidate search suggestion is included on a list of search suggestions that are prohibited, wherein the list is generated by: receiving previously submitted search queries and search results; determining, for each of the search queries, a number of search results associated with a particular content rating; determining whether the number meets a threshold value; and in response to determining that the number does not meet the threshold value, inserting the search query to the list; generating a modified group of search suggestions by removing search suggestions that are on the list; and causing a subset of the modified group of search suggestions to be presented as the remaining portion of the search query.

Abstract: Systems, methods, computer-readable media, and devices for accessing onboard operational data in a vehicle. The systems, methods, computer-readable media, and devices may include hardware and/or software for performing operations that include: obtaining user information and vehicle information, obtaining verification information, e.g., from a verification source, verifying that a specific user is associated with the vehicle based on the verification information, communicatively connecting to the vehicle based on the vehicle information; obtaining the onboard data from the vehicle; and providing the onboard data to the user. In embodiments, the user may be the owner of the vehicle, the registrant of the vehicle, or a repair person that is servicing the vehicle and needs access to onboard data besides OBD error codes.
Abstract: Disclosure herein concerns a method that includes illuminating a user's eye with an illumination source in a head-worn display, capturing an image of the user's eye with an eye camera in the head-worn display, wherein the image includes an eye glint produced by light from the illumination source that is reflected from a surface of the user's eye, determining a size of an eye glint in the captured image, and identifying a change in focus distance for the user's eye in correspondence with a change in the size of the eye glint.
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for calibrating camera and measuring offsets for reducing distortions on images. The calibrating includes aligning an on-board image sensor and a lens barrel using a kinematic mount and affixing the onboard image sensor and the lens barrel to assemble a camera. The kinematic mount provides a predetermined number of degrees of freedom in aligning the on-board image sensor and the lens barrel. A device embeds the camera. The measuring includes receiving the camera in the kinematic mount and measuring an opposing pair of offset values as measured optical centers from the lens optical axis to the image sensor pointing reference at yaw orientations of the camera at 0 degree and 180 degrees. The method determines a total offset value by taking an average of the pair and canceling the rotationally symmetrical error. The method uses the offset value for reducing distortions on images by de-warping.

Abstract: A computerized system automatically ensures that data from a data partner has been ethnically sourced. The system reviews websites associated with URLs provided by the data provider, and privacy policy data is extracted and captured. A keyword set is used to analyze the privacy terms of websites associated with the URLs. URLs associated with websites that ethically collect data are stored in a URL database, or the URLs are given a flag or score, such that these URLs need not be checked each time a new data partner identifies these URLs as the source of its data. The system may periodically re-check the URLs to ensure that no changes have been made to the corresponding website's data collection practices.

Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and software to manage the identification of control packets in an encapsulation header. In one implementation, a computing system may receive a Geneve packet at a network interface and determine that the Geneve packet includes an Operations and Management (OAM) flag. Once the OAM flag is identified, the computing system can select a processing queue from a plurality of processing queues for a main processing system of the computing system based on the OAM flag and assign the Geneve packet to the processing queue.
