Abstract: Techniques provided herein employ a device monitoring service to provide task to content consumption devices that are steaming digital media from the streaming infrastructure. The tasks, when implemented by the content consumption devices, may reveal differences in task performance between authorized devices, which have the authorization to access the digital media, and imposter devices, which exploit vulnerabilities in the streaming pipeline to access the digital media. In addition, the techniques provided herein may include a machine learning/artificial intelligence model that is trained to recognize authorized and imposter content consumption devices based on their task performance.

Abstract: Beamforming codebook optimization in a wireless communication system (WCS) is provided. In a WCS, a wireless node (e.g., base station) simultaneously emits multiple reference beams in a coverage area based on a set of codewords that is optimized for a specific number (a full or a partial set) of antenna elements in an antenna array. The wireless node is configured to determine a different set(s) of codewords that are fine-tuned for forming the reference beams from a different number of the antenna elements in the antenna array and steer the reference beams toward identical directions. During deployment of the wireless node, there may be dead zones or low coverage zones. Aspects of the present disclosure facilitate the discovery of these low-coverage zones using feedback from multiple deployed Internet of Things (IoT) devices. Based on the feedback, the codebook of codewords may be optimized to reduce or eliminate such low coverage zones.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a first electrode, a first magnetostrictive layer electrically coupled to the first electrode, a first ferroelectric layer above the first magnetostrictive layer, and a ferromagnetic layer above the first ferroelectric layer. The electronic device may further include a second electrode electrically coupled to the ferromagnetic layer, a second ferroelectric layer above the ferromagnetic layer, a second magnetostrictive layer above the second ferroelectric layer, and a third electrode electrically coupled to the second magnetostrictive layer. The first ferroelectric layer may be switchable between different polarization states responsive to a first voltage applied across the first and second electrodes, and the second ferroelectric layer may be switchable between different polarization states responsive to a second voltage applied across the second and third electrodes.
Abstract: A processor may receive at least one test application corresponding to an application profile. The processor may simulate the at least one test application in a non-production environment for a plurality of infrastructure configurations to generate a plurality of test performance results. The processor may evaluate the plurality of test performance results to identify an optimal infrastructure configuration from among the plurality of infrastructure configurations for the application profile. The processor may apply the optimal infrastructure configuration to an application corresponding to the application profile that is deployed in a production environment.
