Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing an equitable availability distribution real-time calculator. More particularly, systems and methods reduce the potential for telecommunications outages following upgrades and allow markets better control over availability metrics. To do so, an outage indication is initially received that identifies a plurality of cell sites affected by an outage and a timeframe for an update corresponding to the outage to be deployed to each of the plurality of cell sites. A selection of a portion of the plurality of cell sites to deploy the update at a particular time within the timeframe is received. Real-time data is received from each cell site of the portion of the plurality of cell sites corresponding to the particular time within the timeframe. Using the real-time data, the impact of deploying the update for the portion of the plurality of cell sites at the particular time is determined.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a composition for sustained release of an active that includes a plurality of liposomal beadlets, wherein each of the plurality of liposomal beadlets comprise: a liposomal core comprising phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), and phosphatidylserine (PS) wherein the active is dispersed within the liposomal core; a second core surrounding the liposomal core comprising one or more polypeptide and a polysaccharide; and a polymer beadlet shell surrounding the second core. In certain embodiments, the polymer beadlet shell contains gum arabic; microcrystalline cellulose (MCC); hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC); glycerol; ?-cyclodextrin; ethyl cellulose; and one or more metal halide salt.

Abstract: A GSM satellite communication system is in communication with a first satellite having a first field of view including a first plurality of cells in which a plurality of active User Equipment (UEs) is located. The plurality of active UEs is in direct communication with the first satellite. The satellite communication system includes a first feeder link and a first tracking antenna configured to communicate with the plurality of active UEs via the first satellite directly serving the first plurality of cells; a first processing device configured to communicate with the plurality of active UEs; and a second processing device configured to normalize delay for a plurality of beam centers of the first plurality of cells, and provide the normalized delay to the first processing device.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of surgical instruments and packs or sets of surgical instruments are disclosed herein. An exemplary surgical instrument is a two-part surgical instrument that includes a first shank. The first shank has a first ring handle at a first end and a first jaw portion on the other end and a shaft and one or more retainers. The exemplary surgical instrument includes a second shank. The second shank has a second ring handle at a first end and a second jaw portion on the other end and an opening configured to receive the shaft. The first shank is connected to the second shank by sliding the opening of the second shank over the shaft of the first shank and the first shank is disconnected from the second shank by pulling the second shank away from the first shank.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a natural language command from a user that requests a digital assistant to provide a notification to a user device associated with the user upon occurrence of a particular event. The method also includes processing the natural language command using a natural language understanding module to determine one or more event conditions that each indicate the occurrence of the particular event and obtaining event information of the particular event. While the user device is in a notification silencing mode, the method includes determining that at least one of the one or more event conditions is satisfied and providing the notification for output from the user device in response to determining that at least one of the one or more event conditions is satisfied. The notification, when output from the user device, notifies the user of the occurrence of the particular event.

Abstract: A gaming machine cabinet for a mechanical reel based gaming machine is provided. A plurality of reel devices, each including a mechanical reel and a basket, provides fast and easy installation of the mechanical reels in the gaming machine cabinet. The reel devices are mounted to a self-adjusting sled. The gaming machine cabinet includes a belly door that is coupled to the gaming machine cabinet and provides closed, intermediate, and fully open positions for the belly door.

Abstract: Systems and method for powering an implanted blood pump are disclosed herein. The system can be a mechanical circulatory support system. The mechanical circulatory support system can include an implantable blood pump. The implantable blood pump includes a DC powered pump control unit that can control the blood pump according to one or several stored instructions. The implantable blood pump includes a rectifier electrically connected to the pump control unit. The implantable rectifier can convert the AC to DC for powering the pump control unit. The system can include an external controller electrically connected to the rectifier. The external controller can provide AC electrical power to the implantable blood pump.

Abstract: A power transfer system for a separately excited machine includes a positive slipring and a negative slipring. One or more positive brushes and one or more negative brushes. A rotor winding attached to rotor laminations and a stator winding attached to stator laminations, such that the stator winding is outside of the rotor winding. The power transfer system may have a hollow shaft. The power transfer system may also have the negative brush and the negative slipring being exterior to the hollow shaft, and one or more position sensors. A shaft ingress separator may be within the hollow shaft and may act as a barrier between wet areas and dry areas. The power transfer system may also include a positive wire and a negative wire, which may be reversed.

Abstract: A system is provided that may include a first storage device, a second storage device, and a controller. The first storage device may receive and store a first message including a first operational key for a first component and a second operational key for a second component. The first message may contain first metadata including at least a time stamp of the first message. The second storage device may receive and store a second message including the first and second operational keys. The second message may contain second metadata including a time stamp of the second message. The controller may compare the first and second messages to determine a most recent version of the first and second operational keys based on the time stamp of the messages. The controller may sync the most recent version of the first and second operational keys to the first and second storage devices.

Abstract: Turbines and associated equipment are normally cleaned via water or chemical pressure washing via a mist, spray systems. However, these systems fail to reach deep across the gas path to remove fouling materials. Various embodiments herein pertain to apparatus and methods that utilize the water and existing chemicals to generate a foam. The foam can be introduced at that gas-path entrance of the equipment, where it contacts the stages and internal surfaces, to contact, scrub, carry, and remove fouling away from equipment to restore performance. Various embodiments pertain to spout assemblies for providing foam to the compressor of commercial fan engines, and in yet other embodiments to engines receiving air from a long inlet duct, especially those having a serpentine inlet ducts.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for arranging trips for autonomous vehicles. For instance, a request for a trip may be received by one or more processors of one or more server computing devices. The request may identify an initial location. A weather condition at the initial location may be identified. One or more internal vehicle state conditions and one or more priorities for pulling over may be determined based on the weather condition. A second location may be determined based on the one or more priorities and the initial location. Dispatch instructions may be provided to an autonomous vehicle, the dispatch instructions identifying the second location and the one or more internal vehicle state conditions in order to cause computing devices of the autonomous vehicle to control the autonomous vehicle to the second location and adjust internal vehicle state conditions based on the one or more internal vehicle state conditions.

Abstract: A system extracts procedure content from a procedure in a source format in a source document. The system identifies, in the procedure content, first section content in a first section and second section content in a second section. The system identifies, in a template for the procedure, a primary section that corresponds to the first section in the source document, and a secondary section that corresponds to the second section in the source document, The system transforms the first section content from the source format into first transformed content in a target format for the primary section and the second section content from the source format into second transformed content in a target format for the secondary section. The system stores the first transformed content and the second transformed content as part of a standardized format procedure in a procedure repository, and provides user access to the standardized format procedure.

Abstract: Solutions for evaluating source code generators use offline and online evaluation stages. Offline evaluation includes separating each of a plurality of input passages of software code into a plurality of constituent blocks. Each code generator (of a plurality of code generators) generates an equivalent block corresponding to each constituent block. A coding score is determined for each equivalent block (for each code generator), and the coding scores are aggregated across the equivalent blocks to provide an aggregate score for each code generator. A ranking of the aggregate scores is used to down-select to a fewer number of code generators for online evaluation. For this stage, the code generators output passages of software code, and user acceptance of the code generators' outputs may be used for further ranking and down-selection. Some examples weight the coding score according to a code utility estimate of the constituent blocks for which equivalent blocks are generated.

Methods for producing de-differentiated T cells, said de-differentiated T cells, populations thereof and compositions thereof are also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for connecting an optical fiber to a ferrule. The system and method facilitate the process of epoxying the optical fiber in a manner that avoid inadvertently adhering the fiber to the side of a connector housing, which can result in breakage of the optical fiber when in the field. The system and method provide a mechanism for easily epoxying the optical fiber to the ferrule while still allowing for some radial movement of the optical fiber within the connector housing, which is desirable. The system and method incorporate an end cap that centers the optical fiber in the connector housing during the connection process and also acts as a strain relief when in the field.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for transmitting data to a pair of truly wireless devices. A first device, which may be considered the primary device, may determine a first data packet was received. The first device may also determine the first data packet was not received by a second device of the pair of truly wireless devices. In response to determining the second device did not receive the first data packet, the first device may request the first data packet be retransmitted.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, using an application server, formatting information that is associated with sensitive information, from a computing device. The method may include generating, using the application server and based on the formatting information, a video including a single image frame. The single image frame may represent the sensitive information, and the video may be associated with a digital rights management technology. The method may further include transmitting, using the application server, the video to the computing device.

Abstract: A current sense resistor and a method of manufacturing a current sensing resistor with temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) compensation are disclosed. The resistor has a resistive strip disposed between two conductive strips. A pair of main terminals and a pair of voltage sense terminals are formed in the conductive strips. A pair of rough TCR calibration slots is located between the main terminals and the voltage sense terminals, each of the rough TCR calibration slots have a depth selected to obtain a negative starting TCR value observed at the voltage sense terminals. A fine TCR calibration slot is formed between the pair of voltage sense terminals.

Abstract: A motor vehicle includes an AC (alternating current) electric motor having a stator with a plurality of stator windings, a rechargeable source of stored electrical energy, and an inverter coupled to the rechargeable source of stored electrical energy and to the AC electric motor. The system also includes one or more controllers collectively programmed to switch the inverter to provide alternating current propulsive energy from the rechargeable source of stored electrical energy to the plurality of stator windings and, using at least one of the stator windings as a boost inductor, switch the inverter to step up a voltage at a charging input coupled to the inverter to charge the rechargeable source of stored electrical energy.
