Abstract: A cache service provides applications in a containerized, multi-tenant cloud-computing system low-latency access to secrets. The cache service may operate as a cluster-level service or a sidecar service. The cache service may store copies of secrets (which are located in one or more absolute stores) in a cache storage. The cache service and the cache storage may be closer to the applications than the one or more absolute stores are to the applications. The cache service may aggregate secrets associated with multiple entities in a single cache storage. The cache service may support isolation between secrets such that secrets of a first entity are isolated from secrets of a second entity. The cache service may enforce granulated access controls such that it can apply different access controls to secrets of a first entity than to secrets of a second entity.

Abstract: A computer implemented method, system and non-transitory computer-readable device for a remote deposit environment. Upon receiving a user request, based on interactions with the UI, the method implements an electronic deposit of a financial instrument by activating a camera on the client device to generate a live stream of image data of a field of view of at least one camera, wherein the live stream includes imagery of at least a portion of the financial instrument. The method continues by extracting in real-time, based on the formation of byte array objects from the live stream of image data, data fields from a ranked sequence of imagery to be processed by an optical character recognition (OCR) program resident on the client device. The OCR process extracts one or more data fields from of the financial instrument that are communicated to a remote deposit server to complete the electronic deposit.

  • Publication number: 20250117684
Abstract: Generalizations of quantum amplitude amplification and amplitude estimation algorithms work with non-boolean oracles (by way of definition, the action of a non-boolean oracle U? on an eigenstate |x is to apply a state-dependent phase-shift ?(x); unlike boolean oracles, the eigenvalues exp(i?(x)) of a non-boolean oracle are not restricted to be ±1). The non-boolean amplitude amplification algorithm preferentially amplifies the amplitudes of the eigenstates based on the value of ?(x). Starting from a given initial superposition state |?0, the basis states with lower values of cos (?) are amplified at the expense of the basis states with higher values of cos (?). The non-boolean quantum mean estimation algorithm uses quantum phase estimation to estimate the expectation ?0|U?|?0 (i.e., the expected value of exp(i?(x)) for a random x sampled by making a measurement on |?0). The quantum mean estimation algorithm offers a quadratic speedup over its counterpart boolean algorithm known in the art.

  • Publication number: 20250115813
Abstract: A method for treating effluent from hydrothermal liquification of feedstock that contains plastic oil, pyrolysis oil, synthetic oil or hydrocarbons distillates in a plastic recycle process using supercritical water as a reaction medium into a finished liquid hydrocarbon fuel by removing impurities such as i.e. silicon, chlorides, metals, heteroatoms, etc., in a pre-treatment zone and may be passed into a feed drum or a continuous mixed settler vessel. The feed is introduced into a hydrogen atmosphere reactor. The reactor effluent is passed to a separator for extracting product mixture by addition of make-up or recycled hydrogen to the separator. The overhead product mixture is water washed to remove sour water or salt. The separator effluent is passed to a distillation section for extracting a liquid fuel product stream. A portion of the hydro processing product stream may be recycled to the feed drum or the continuous mixed settler vessel, which reduces concentration of diolefins.
