  • Patent number: 12267907
Abstract: A wireless communication network serves Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) User Equipment (UEs) and Mobile Wireless Access (MWA) UEs. Wireless access nodes receive signaling from the UEs and transfer the signaling to a network control-plane. The network control-plane determines network characteristics for the UEs responsive to the signaling. The control-plane generates MWA UE context for the UEs in a MWA UE group based on the network characteristics and generates FWA UE context for the UEs in the FWA UE group based on the network characteristics. The network control-plane transfers signaling to the wireless access nodes having the MWA UE context and the FWA UE context. The wireless access nodes serve the UEs in the MWA UE group by using Discontinuous Reception (DRX) responsive to the MWA UE context. The wireless access nodes serve the UEs in the FWA group without using the DRX responsive to the FWA UE context.

  • Patent number: 12263560
Abstract: An anti-slip torque tool that utilizes a pair of teeth designed to virtually eliminate slippage and facilitate torque transfer to a fastener. The tool includes a wrench torque-tool body and at least one engagement element. The wrench torque-tool body includes a plurality of internal sidewalls, an engagement first base, and an engagement second base. The engagement element is laterally integrated into a specific sidewall to provide additional gripping action. To perform this function, each engagement element further includes a first tooth and a second tooth. Both the first tooth and the second tooth are positioned offset from each other, along a sidewall base surface. The first tooth is the anchoring tooth, designed to grip the fastener specifically from off the corner off a male hex fastener. In contrast, the second tooth is the releasing tooth, designed to release the tool from the fastener.

  • Patent number: 12266924
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for a battery management system (BMS) having a protection circuit. In one example, a vehicle battery system may include the BMS, the BMS including a cutoff circuit coupled to a short-circuit protection circuit, and a battery pack, wherein the short-circuit protection circuit may include a diode array, cathodes of the diode array being coupled to a positive terminal post of the battery pack and anodes of the diode array being coupled to a negative terminal post of the battery pack. In some examples, the cutoff circuit may further be coupled to a reverse bias protection circuit including a switchable current path arranged between a control input of the cutoff circuit and an output of the cutoff circuit. In this way, the vehicle battery system may be protected from unexpected voltage conditions via the BMS redirecting and dissipating excess current away from the cutoff circuit.

  • Patent number: 12267989
Abstract: A controller reduces power output of an inverter of an electric drive system while a sensed temperature associated with the inverter, a sensed current output of the inverter, and parameter values of a busbar of the inverter are indicative of a predicted temperature of the busbar being greater than a threshold to maintain busbar temperature lower than the threshold. The current output of the inverter may be outputted over the busbar. The parameter values are obtainable from a thermal model of the busbar. The thermal model may be derived from testing a test version of the inverter under different drive cycles in which for each a set of information is recorded including a sensed temperature of the test inverter, a sensed current output of the test inverter, and a sensed temperature of the busbar of the test inverter.

  • Patent number: 12267360
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) pattern-based high-risk browsing and anomaly detection. In an example, a user device can compare URLs in a browser's history to URL patterns in a provided list to identify matches. The user device can calculate a browsing risk score based on the percentage of entries in the browsing history that match each URL pattern and a risk score associated with the URL pattern. Security policies can be enforced at the user device if the browsing risk score exceeds a threshold. The user device can also detect potentially dangerous anomalous browsing behavior. The user device can calculate a deviance score based on variations between recent browsing history and historical browsing behavior at the user device. Security policies can be enforced at the user device if the deviance score exceeds a threshold.
