  • Patent number: 12265828
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products are provided for automated runtime configuration for dataflows to automatically select or adapt a runtime environment or resources to a dataflow plan prior to execution. Metadata generated for dataflows indicates dataflow information, such as numbers and types of sources, sinks and operations, and the amount of data being consumed, processed and written. Weighted dataflow plans are created from unweighted dataflow plans based on metadata. Weights that indicate operation complexity or resource consumption are generated for data operations. A runtime environment or resources to execute a dataflow plan is/are selected based on the weighted dataflow and/or a maximum flow. Preferences may be provided to influence weighting and runtime selections.

  • Patent number: 12263974
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for treating and sealing perishable products in bulk bins and large bulk open top packaging are included. A modified atmosphere of industrial gas (i.e., nitrogen) and product specific treatments are injected within the contents of the liner bag or bin enclosure at the conclusion of the cooling cycle, in conjunction with or just after as the liner bag or open top bin enclosure is sealed. The methods and apparatuses provide alternative processes that can be applied manually or automated to seal of the bin liner bag or bin enclosure and then independently or in conjunction with cooling provide for the controlled and contained injection of modified atmosphere industrial gas treatments (i.e., nitrogen), sanitizer, and/or other functional substances to protect, preserve, or enhance the quality of the perishable product.

  • Patent number: 12267566
Abstract: A method of and system for enabling a distributed entertainment system over a computing device is described herein. When implementing a distributed entertainment system wherein the entertainment system is directly correlated to live events or televised programs, there are a number of issues that must be addressed such as differing timing and channels of television programs and separate state laws. Furthermore, there are a plethora of varying computing device models possibly requiring model-specific software. An “Activity Client” is provided to handle such concerns. Furthermore, since time is of the essence for activities based on live or televised events, it is necessary to ensure a computing device is able to receive the necessary updates for the program before the event begins. By providing only the needed components instead of entire data packages, the present invention is able to much more efficiently prepare users' computing devices in time.

  • Patent number: 12264453
Abstract: A pneumatic excavator includes: a barrel with an ingress configured to be fluidly connected to a supply of compressed air and an egress; an actuator; a releasable coupling to lock the actuator to the barrel in a plurality positions; and a flow valve fixedly arranged to the barrel, the flow valve in a communicative coupling with the actuator by an actuation conduit. The actuation conduit is flexible and slaved by an adjustment movement of the releasable coupling and actuator along the barrel to thereby maintain the communicative coupling therebetween. When the actuator is actuated, the actuation conduit sends causes the flow valve to open and the compressed air passes through the flow valve and exits the pneumatic excavator, and when the actuator is released, the actuation conduit sends a signal to the flow valve to close to prevent the compressed air from passing through the flow valve.
