Abstract: Location based wagering method sand systems. An online wagering service can be invoked via a mobile device. A determination can then be made regarding the location of the mobile device and a jurisdiction (e.g., state, county, city, etc.) associated with that location. The mobile device and hence a user can be authorized to access the online wagering service based on the location of the mobile device. Based on the location, it can also be determined if use of the online wagering service is allowed in the jurisdiction along with prescribed limitations of use in that jurisdiction. Wagering options are then presented via the mobile device, which conform to the laws and/or regulations of the jurisdiction.

Abstract: In some implementations, a system may receive interaction request data indicating a request by a first user to perform a requested interaction via a user account, wherein the first user is associated with the user account. The interaction request data may indicate a first user identifier and first user biometric authentication data associated with the first user. The system may identify a second user identifier associated with a second user associated with the user account. If the system determines that an authorization condition is satisfied, the system may transmit, to a second user device associated with the second user, a second user authentication. The system may receive, from the second user device, second user biometric authentication data associated with the second user. The system may authorize the requested interaction based on receiving the second user biometric authentication data within a time threshold after a request time associated with the request.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for enhancing performance of a search engine by using pre-existing fine-tuned machine learning models that include domain-specific knowledge. A computing device receives search results from a search engine based on a query, in which the search results include chunk identifiers and a first weight score associated with each chunk identifier. The computing device further determines a subset of search results, which includes a first predetermined number of top-ranked chunk identifiers in the search results. The computing device generates, for each chunk identifier in the subset of search results, one or more second weight scores. Then the computing device generates, via a machine learning model, ensemble scores for the chunk identifiers. Afterwards, the computing device determines a second predetermined number of top-ranked chunk identifiers based on the ensemble scores.

Abstract: A depolymerization reaction of a polyester input with an organocatalyst and an alcohol solvent produces (i) a recycled monomeric or oligomeric diester from the polyester, (ii) the organocatalyst for reuse, and (iii) the alcohol solvent, which may also be reused. The presence of volatile impurities, such as water, acetyl aldehyde, and organic solvents can interfere with the success of the depolymerization reaction. A pre-reaction distillation step removes volatile impurities from the polyester input resulting in an efficient depolymerization reaction with consistency among batches. The polyester input may be further treated with a water azeotrope to remove water from the polyester input prior to the pre-reaction distillation.
