Abstract: A table system for use with an imaging device includes a base portion that supports the table system over a support surface, a patient support including a platform for supporting a patient in a standing position and a bed for supporting the patient in a lying position, a linkage portion coupled between the base portion and the patient support that is pivotable with respect to both the base portion and the patient support, a first drive mechanism that drives the pivoting of the patient support with respect to the linkage portion, and a second drive mechanism that drives the pivoting of the linkage portion with respect to the base portion, the first and second drive mechanisms moving the patient support between a vertical position in which the platform is substantially parallel to the support surface and a horizontal position in which the bed is substantially parallel to the support surface.

Abstract: An apparatus and methods according to the present invention provides a human powered catamaran-styled watercraft and methods of configuring and operating the watercraft. The watercraft generally comprises at least one hull in communication with a folding collapsible frame, wherein in the frame comprises a center rack pivotally joining hulls of hull sets to provide for common pivoting of the hulls during articulation of the watercraft, thereby the hulls and frame are in further communication through a at least one pivot pad which provides for slidable pivoting of the hulls during articulation of the watercraft. A method of folding and reversibly extending the watercraft to provide for optimized storage is provided. A method of operation of the watercraft to provide for articulation of the watercraft is provided.

Abstract: A method and system for providing secure delivery, transport, modification, exchange of digital design and build files that have been bundled into a digital asset within a complex digital supply chain. The system also provides for quality standards when the digital asset is used to manufacture a physical part, and provides for secure feedback to stakeholders for the purpose of digital logistics, data analytics, or liability. The system includes, but is not limited to, manufacturing, licensing, modification and delegation policy, generating authorization certificates, authenticating manufacturing devices and provide qualitative and quantitative file consumption data.

Abstract: A system to remotely detect and identify an airborne drone presenting a flight risk to crewed aircraft. A warning of the hazardous drone is provided to the crewed aircraft. An airborne drone is observed by any of several means, to include for example by receipt of drone location or identification data transmitted by the drone, the crewed aircraft, or a ground-based system, or through a sensor positioned on the ground, on the drone, or aboard the crewed aircraft. The safety warning and real-time observation of a hazardous drone may be shared among other crewed aircraft or drones, in particular to other subscribing aircraft and/or drones approaching the airspace of the hazardous drone.

Abstract: A system and method of generating trackable frames from a broadcast video feed are provided herein. A computing system retrieves a broadcast video feed for a sporting event. The broadcast video feed includes a plurality of video frames. The computing system generates a set of frames for classification using a principal component analysis model. The set of frames are a subset of the plurality of video frames. The computing system partitions each frame of the set of frames into a plurality of clusters. The computing system classifies each frame of the plurality of frames as trackable or untrackable. Trackable frames capture a unified view of the sporting event. The computing system compares each cluster to a predetermined threshold to determine whether each cluster comprises at least a threshold number of trackable frames. The computing system classifies each cluster that includes at least the threshold number of trackable frames as trackable.

Abstract: A transaction card construction and a method for making transaction cards provides increased security for transaction card magnetic strips. The transaction card construction includes a card inlay and a clear card body. The card inlay is formed via a lamination press process with the magnetic strip attached to a back surface of the card inlay. The card body may have a window through which a data storage element may be exposed for accessing, such as by a magnetic stripe reader or EMV chip reader. The card body may be formed by adhering the card inlay to the clear card body.

Abstract: An inventory system, apparatus and method. The method to be used in a cooler that includes a power module provides power to the inventory system from an electric source, battery, WIFI charge, wireless charge and/or combination thereof, a computer processor coupled to the power module, a memory module coupled to the computer processor, an image capturing module coupled to the processor, a movement module coupled to the processor; wherein the movement module triggers the image capturing device to capture images of products in a cooler due to a movement.

Abstract: An electronic lockbox with a single sensor that can detect both the position of a key compartment component (or a movable key bin) and the presence of a removable key fob (attached to a building key). The key compartment includes a first magnet and the removable key fob includes a second magnet. The single sensor can detect the presence of neither magnet, the first magnet alone, or both the first and second magnet together. If neither magnet is detected, then the key compartment (movable bin) is open. If only the first magnet is detected, then the key compartment (movable bin) has been closed without the removable key fob. If both the first and second magnets are detected, then the key compartment (movable bin) is closed with the removable key fob inside the movable bin.

Abstract: A system for calculating a score for an edible in a display interface, the system having a computing device configured to determine an edible of interest relating to a user, receive nourishment information relating to the edible of interest to the user, wherein the nourishment information includes a plurality of ingredients, calculate one or more nutrient biodiversity scores as a function of the nourishment information including evaluating each ingredient of the plurality of ingredients, wherein evaluating each ingredient includes, extracting at least a nutrient from each ingredient of the plurality of ingredients and calculating a nutrient biodiversity score for the at least a nutrient, determine a nutritional requirement as a function of at least the nourishment information, and display the nutritional requirement and the one or more nutrient biodiversity scores of the edible of interest through a display interface.

Abstract: An attachable map holding apparatus comprising a pouch for displaying at least one map, having a front surface and a back surface, being flexible but substantially flat, foldable between an open position and a closed position, and configured to fold at least once along a fold line into the closed position; the front surface being, at least partially, made of transparent material; the back surface having a means for attaching a coupling structure to a wearer; at least one opening on the exterior of the pouch that allows the wearer to place at least one map inside the pouch; at least one means for securing the apparatus in the closed position; and at least one coupling tab that folds underneath the pouch to lock it in the closed position.

Abstract: A phased array housing device includes a transducer housing section, including a linear phased array of transducer elements, and a couplant housing section, including one or more couplants. The linear phased array is able to translate across the length of the transducer housing section to simulate the results of a two-dimensional matrix of transducer elements. Some versions of the linear phased array attach to a pivot point after reaching an end of the transducer housing section such that the linear phased array is able to rotate and scan in a second direction.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for generating Unique Digital Signatures (UDS) for semiconductor memories to improve data security. Generally, the method involves allocating a number of native memory cells in a memory device; obtaining a multibit binary entropy string (BES) using variations of threshold voltages (VT) of the allocated cells as an entropy source; and mathematically manipulating the BES to generate the UDS. Optionally, the BES can be concatenated with another multibit binary number from a second entropy source internal or external to the memory device, and the result of the concatenation mathematically manipulated to generate the UDS. In one embodiment, a reference voltage is located at a median VT for the cells, and the BES is obtained by reading the cells versus the reference, assigning those having a VT above the reference a first bit value, and the remaining cells a second bit value.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for manipulating a communication acceptance screen, manipulating an interactive communication acceptance icon, and restricting access to accounts based on voice communication parameters. In particular, when a communication is detected from one device to another device, that communication may be risky. Thus, the risk is mitigated by giving a user information about the source of the communication to give a user a chance to reject the communication. In addition, in instances where the user accepts the communication, the system enables monitoring the communication and restricting any accounts that are disclosed within the communication.

The method includes determining whether an intra prediction mode of a first neighboring block of a current block is an angular mode, determining whether an intra prediction mode of a second neighboring block of the current block is an angular mode, and generating a Most Probable Mode (MPM) list of the current block.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a system includes a first antenna element configured, in response to receiving fifth generation (5G) communication signals carrying encoded data, to generate a first surface electromagnetic wave. The first surface electromagnetic wave is capable of tunneling through a conductive enclosure and includes the encoded data. The system includes a second antenna element, within the conductive enclosure configured, in response to receiving the first surface electromagnetic wave, to generate a second surface electromagnetic wave within the conductive enclosure for distributing the encoded data to an electronic device operating in the conductive enclosure.

Abstract: A decoder receives, from a bitstream, an indication of a block vector, a residual of a current block, an indication of an affine transform, and affine transform parameters. The decoder determines, based on the indication of the block vector, a reference block in a same picture as the current block for predicting the current block. The decoder applies, based on the indication of the affine transform, the affine transform parameters to the reference block to generate an affine transformation of the reference block. The decoder decodes the current block based on the residual and the affine transformation of the reference block.

Abstract: The system is configured to create a generalized document automation framework that captures relevant data from documents based upon replicating historical human actions associated with a document. The system may use machine vision and natural language processing to match a new document to a document that was already human extracted in an existing corpus. This is accomplished by comparing both visual elements and textual elements. This match can be verified by statistical approaches by comparing the match metrics across multiple documents. After the match has been found and verified, the system then uses the historical extractions from the historical document and maps the extractions to similar regions in the new document based upon again both visual and text commonalities between documents. Data is then extracted from these regions of interest in the new document, sanity checked for data integrity against historical data, and then passed downstream for processing.

Abstract: A system for controlling a turbine is disclosed. The system includes a turbine control fuel governor that has a plurality of VCPIDs operating in parallel with one another. Each VCPID is associated with a respective turbine parameter and one or more external parameters. Each VCPID incorporates feedback from the parallel operating VCPIDs to feed an integral term of a current VCPID in the following manner: a previous derivative gain and a previous proportional gain are summed and subtracted from a selected output for the turbine to yield a result, and the result is input to an integral gain portion of the current VCPID.

Abstract: A system and method for rendering a plurality of user interface (UI) components of a UI screen based on a priority order is conducted by receiving a request to load the UI screen, each component of the UI screen being associated with a priority order, creating a data structure for rendering the UI components in accordance with the priority order, the data structure including a list of the UI components in an order in which they should be rendered, generating an event for rendering a first UI component in the data structure, receiving an indication that the first UI component has been rendered, responsive to receiving the indication that the first UI component has been rendered, moving to a next UI component in the list to render and continuing with the rendering of the UI components in accordance with the list until all UI components in the list have been rendered.
