Abstract: A device for providing nitric oxide to a space for sanitizing or sterilizing an article is provided. The device includes a support having a surface. The support is adapted to be disposed in the space and in proximity of the article or the surface defines the space and the space is adapted to contain the article. The device further includes a nitric oxide source overlying the surface and adapted to provide nitric oxide (A) at a predetermined rate, (B) for a predetermined amount of time, (C) a predetermined dose, or any combination of (A), (B), and (C). A method for sanitizing or sterilizing an article in a space is provided. The method includes locating the article within the space. The method further includes providing nitric oxide to the space from a nitric oxide source at a predetermined rate. The method further includes exposing the article to the nitric oxide for a predetermined amount of time.

Abstract: A self-centering ring for an LED retrofit lamp, an LED retrofit lamp, and a vehicle headlight are described. The lamp includes a ring-shaped body that includes an outer ring and an opening in a central region of the ring-shaped body that receives the LED retrofit lamp.

Abstract: A scale and pose estimation method for a camera system is disclosed. Camera data for a scene acquired by the camera system is received. A scale prior parameter characterizing scale of the camera system is received. A cost of a cost function is calculated for a similarity transformation. The cost of the cost function is influenced at least by the scale prior parameter. Based at least on the cost function being less than a threshold cost, an estimated scale and pose of the camera system is output based on the similarity transformation.

Abstract: A polymer compatible retroreflective bead. The bead can be used in typical retroreflective uses such as paints tapes and films in highway marking and signs having high retroreflectivity both when initially installed and over the bead lifetime, allowing vehicle drivers to see highway marking lines at night and in adverse conditions during nighttime. When installed the retroreflective beads essentially retroreflect the base color of the highway marking material in which the retroreflective beads are embedded.

Abstract: A threat level analyzer probes for one or more threats within an application container in a container system. Each threat is a vulnerability or a non-conformance with a benchmark setting. The threat level analyzer further probes for one or more threats within a host of the container service. The threat level analyzer generates a threat level assessment score based on results from the probing of the one or more threats of the application container and the one or more threats of the host, and generates a report for presentation in a user interface including the threat level assessment score and a list of threats discovered from the probe of the application container and the host. A report is transmitted by the threat level analyzer to a client device of a user for presentation in the user interface.

One example provides a computing device, comprising, a first display a second display, a sensor system a logic subsystem and a storage subsystem comprising instructions executable by the logic subsystem to output, via one or both of the first display and the second display, a notification of an incoming phone call at the computing device, and based on output from the sensor system indicating a relative angle between the first display and the second display being changed to an angle greater than a predetermined angle, answer the incoming phone call.

Abstract: A process of leaching a metal or salt thereof from a feed source includes combining an indifferent salt to a leach system to increase efficiency of the leach process as well as the subsequent leach residue liquid-solids separation. The process can include combining the feed source with a leaching reagent and an indifferent salt in a leach medium to form a feed slurry and leaching a metal or metal salt from the feed slurry in to a pregnant leach liquor followed by recovering metal salts from the pregnant leach liquor and recycling residual leach solution to form additional feed slurry. Such processes are suitable for large scale operations with high solids loading in the liquid-solids separation operations.

Abstract: A transaction card construction and a method for making transaction cards provides increased security for transaction card magnetic strips. The transaction card construction includes a card inlay and a clear card body. The card inlay is formed via a lamination press process with the magnetic strip attached to a back surface of the card inlay. The card body may have a window through which a data storage element may be exposed for accessing, such as by a magnetic stripe reader or EMV chip reader. The card body may be formed by adhering the card inlay to the clear card body.

Abstract: A near-infrared spectroscopy system comprises a substrate, a light source emitting a set of wavelengths, an optical detector detecting the set of wavelengths, a processor in electronic communication with the light source bank and/or the optical detector, and a memory device in electronic communication with the processor. The light source bank, optical detector, processor, and memory device are mounted on the substrate, and a battery is in electronic communication with at least one of these components. Program instructions direct the processor to calculate an oxygenation level, compare that oxygenation level to a predetermined threshold, and optionally, activate a feedback device. A method of detecting an oxygenation level comprises mounting the system in a wearable article, calculating a baseline oxygenation level, regularly executing the program instructions to calculate the oxygenation level, and activating the feedback device.

Abstract: The present technology relates to improving computing services in a distributed network of remote computing resources, such as edge nodes in an edge compute network. In an aspect, the technology relates to a method that includes aggregating historical request data for a plurality of requests, wherein the aggregated historical request data a time of the request, a location of a device from which the request originated, and/or a type of service being requested. The method also incudes training a machine learning model based on the aggregated historical request data; generating, from the trained machine learning model, a prediction for a type of service to be request; identifying an edge node, from a plurality of edge nodes, based on a physical location of the edge node; and based on predicted service, allocating computing resources for the computing service on the identified edge node.

The delivery vehicle includes a set of rails and a cargo management unit slidably engaged with the set of rails. The cargo management unit is configured to engage with a package and move the package inside the delivery vehicle. The cargo management unit includes a gripping member that includes a lower claw and an upper claw. The lower claw and the upper claw are attached with each other via a pair of first line screws, and are configured to move along the pair of first line screws to secure the package. The cargo management unit further includes a second line screw configured to engage the gripping member with a first rail, and is configured to rotate the gripping member along a second line screw axis and move the gripping member vertically along the second line screw.

An example method includes processing meter data to identify a presented media based on a bumper included in a media, filtering the meter data based on the identification of the media, selecting a candidate episode, the candidate episode not associated with a known episode label, determining whether the candidate episode appears sequentially after a known episode for a threshold number of presentation locations, and labeling the candidate episode as the next sequential episode after the known episode in response to determining that the candidate episode appears sequentially after the known episode for the threshold number of presentation locations.

Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-chamber plasma processing system. A load lock chamber having an atmospheric gate valve and a vacuum gate valve is operatively connected to a transport chamber through the vacuum gate valve. A process chamber is mounted on the load lock chamber wherein the process chamber has only one gate valve that is positioned between the transport chamber and the process chamber. The process chamber does not have an atmospheric gate valve. A substrate handling robot is mounted within the transport chamber and operatively communicates with the load lock chamber through the vacuum gate valve and operatively communicates with the process chamber through the only gate valve of the process chamber.

The overall arrangement effectively enables direct networking of the foreign jobseekers, employers looking to hire foreign workers and legal personnel who are in a position to address governmental and other regulations to effect the transaction.
