  • Patent number: 11968010
Abstract: Systems and methods for beamforming of broadcast and synchronization channels are provided. In one example, a system includes a BBU, RU(s) communicatively coupled to the BBU, and antennas communicatively coupled to the RU(s). Each RU is communicatively coupled to a respective subset of antennas. The BBU, RU(s), and antennas implement a base station for wirelessly communicating with UEs. The base station is configured to map a synchronization signal to the antennas during a sequence of time periods, transmit the synchronization signal via each respective subset of antennas with a first antenna beam pattern during a first time period of the sequence of time periods, and transmit the synchronization signal via each respective subset of the antennas with a second antenna beam pattern during a second time period of the sequence of time periods. The first antenna beam pattern is different than the second antenna beam pattern.

  • Patent number: 11965988
Abstract: A light detection and ranging (LIDAR) system can emit light toward an environment and detect responsively reflected light to determine a distance to one or more points in the environment. The reflected light can be detected by a plurality of plurality of photodiodes that are reverse-biased using a high voltage. Signals from the plurality of reverse-biased photodiodes can be amplified by respective transistors and applied to an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The signal from a particular photodiode can be applied to the ADC by biasing a respective transistor corresponding to the particular photodiode while not biasing transistors corresponding to other photodiodes. The gain of each photodiode/transistor pair can be controlled by adjusting the bias voltage applied to each photodiode using a digital-to-analog converter. The gain of each photodiode/transistor pair can be controlled based on the detected temperature of each photodiode.

  • Patent number: 11966598
Abstract: Indices of storage systems are managed. An example method includes: receiving a flush cycle for flushing expired events in a storage system including multiple events in a data stream, determining, based on the flush cycle, a time slice for managing the index of the storage system, creating a slice index node for the time slice in response to determining that the occurrence time of a first event that enters the storage system in the data stream is within the time slice, wherein the slice index node includes an index node of the first event, and adding the slice index node to the index. A corresponding device and a corresponding computer program product are provided. Thus, the index of a large number of events entering the storage system is managed according to the occurrence time of the events, and the storage system can be searched and updated accurately and effectively.

  • Patent number: 11967321
Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to an automated assistant that can interact with applications that may not have been pre-configured for interfacing with the automated assistant. The automated assistant can identify content of an application interface of the application to determine synonymous terms that a user may speak when commanding the automated assistant to perform certain tasks. Speech processing operations employed by the automated assistant can be biased towards these synonymous terms when the user is accessing an application interface of the application. In some implementations, the synonymous terms can be identified in a responsive language of the automated assistant when the content of the application interface is being rendered in a different language. This can allow the automated assistant to operate as an interface between the user and certain applications that may not be rendering content in a native language of the user.

  • Patent number: 11966380
Abstract: A secure storage module of a client device interacts with a set of secure storage servers to securely store data items of the client on the servers, such that no individual server has the data in readable (non-obfuscated) form. Additionally, the client secure storage module and the servers interact to allow the client device to read a given portion of the original data items from the servers, such that none of the servers can determine which portion of the original data is being requested. Similarly, the interactions of the client secure storage module and the servers allows the client device to update a given portion of the original data on the servers to a new value, such that none of the servers can determine which portion is being updated and that none of the servers can determine either the prior value or new value or the difference between the new value and the prior value.

  • Patent number: 11967218
Abstract: A computerized method and system are disclosed that are directed to determining whether a communicatively coupling has been established between a network device and a transceiver, where both the network device and the transceiver are typically located within the cabin of a vehicle. The computerized method may include detecting movement of the first network device at a speed greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold indicating the vehicle is in motion and attempting to communicatively couple the first network device with the transceiver via both a first wireless communication module and a second wireless communication module at least a predetermine number of times. When a communicatively coupling cannot be established, an inactivity timer is decremented and is further decremented as long as system activity is not detected. When the inactivity timer decrements to a predetermined value, a notification indicating that the communicative coupling was not established is generated.

  • Patent number: 11966745
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a cross-lane processing unit (XPU) for performing data-dependent operations across multiple data processing lanes of a processor. Rather than implementing operation-specific circuits for each data-dependent operation, the XPU can be configured to perform different operations in response to input signals configuring individual operations performed by processing cells and crossbars arranged as a stacked network in the XPU. Each processing cell can receive and process data across multiple data processing lanes. Aspects of the disclosure include configuring the XPU to use a vector sort network to perform a duplicate count eliminating the need to configure the XPU separately for sorting and duplicate counting.

  • Patent number: 11966381
Abstract: Embodiments maintain a data pool that includes heterogeneous data sets, and receiving a first data batch of a data set from a data source into the data pool. Embodiments determine a current state of the data set based on a data set state diagram including a plurality of data set states, and identify a condition of the first data batch. Embodiments further set a data batch state for the first data batch, based on a data batch state diagram, and update the data batch state of a prior data batch received before the first data batch, based on the condition of the first data batch.
