  • Patent number: 11907748
Abstract: Techniques for implementing secure GPU virtualization using sandboxing are provided. In one set of embodiments, a hypervisor of a host system can receive one or more first graphics/compute commands issued by a guest application running within a VM of the host system. The hypervisor can further communicate the one or more first graphics/compute commands to a sandboxed software process that is separate from the hypervisor. The sandboxed software process can then translate the one or more first graphics/compute commands into one or more second graphics/compute commands and issue the one or more second graphics/compute commands for execution on a physical GPU.

  • Patent number: 11904959
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for detecting water within an electronic power steering assembly. A sensor assembly includes a resistor and a water-sensitive capacitor arranged to provide a series resistor-capacitor (RC) network having a cut-off frequency that is a function of a capacitance of the water-sensitive capacitor. An oscillator provides an excitation to the series RC network having a known frequency, such that the series RC network provides an output in response to the excitation. An envelope detector receives the output of the series RC network and generates an output representing an amplitude of the output of the series RC network. A microcontroller determines if water is present within the electronic power steering assembly from the amplitude of the output of the series RC network.

  • Patent number: 11908318
Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to generating a bid for turn priority at an intersection. An autonomous vehicle determines that the autonomous vehicle and a second autonomous vehicle are proximate to an intersection. The autonomous vehicle generates a first bid that is indicative of a first importance that the autonomous vehicle traverses the intersection. The first bid is based upon characteristics of a trip of a passenger riding in the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle transmits the first bid to a networked computing system, wherein the networked computing system determines a turn order based upon the first bid and a second bid generated by the second autonomous vehicle. The networked computing system transmits the turn order to the autonomous vehicle, wherein the autonomous vehicle operates based upon the turn order.
