  • Patent number: 11872918
Abstract: An automotive seat has a self-folding armrest to facilitate automated and complete folding of the armrest upon folding the seat. As such, at least one armrest is pivotally coupled to one side of the backrest, wherein the at least one armrest has a bottom surface. The seat comprises at least one guiding member adapted to be coupled to each side of a seat bottom where there is an armrest. The guiding member comprises an upper surface, such that folding of the backrest towards the seat bottom results in sliding of the bottom surface of the armrest over the upper surface of the guiding member. This facilitates automated folding of the armrest with respect to the backrest, without requiring any additional mechanism, and restricting contact of the armrest with a floor of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11871688
Abstract: A hand tiller has an elongated handle with a left tiller wheel and a right tiller wheel coupled to an axel and configured to rotate about the axel to till the ground. Each of the tiller wheels has a plurality of tines that have a curved geometry, wherein the tines curve circumferentially toward the extended end that is paddle shaped to more effectively penetrate the soil and lift the soil while tilling. Also, the tines taper toward the connected end. The tiller wheels are retained on the axel by tiller wheel retainers that couple with the axel, such as by being threaded into or onto the axel. The handle extends a handle length from the handle-end to the axel-end. The handle has a thumb flange on both the top side and bottom side to provide a resting place for a person's thumb when operating the hand tiller.

  • Patent number: 11877033
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for subjective evaluation. In some examples, processing circuitry receives scores graded by a subject to a media presentation. The scores by the subject includes a plurality of self comparison scores that are graded to self comparison tests in the media presentation. The processing circuitry applies a first rule and a second rule to the plurality of self comparison scores. The first rule requires a first subset of the plurality of self comparison scores in a first range. The second rule requires a second subset of the plurality of self comparison scores in a second range to limit at least an outlier to the first rule according to the second range. The processing circuitry determines that the scores by the subject are qualified for the subjective evaluation in response to the first rule and the second rule being satisfied.

  • Patent number: 11874152
Abstract: A technique facilitates fluid flow measurement by providing a meter able to accurately monitor fluid flow of a liquid even if gas is present in the liquid. The meter may comprise a tubing with an internal flow passage and a wedge or other restriction extending into the internal flow passage. A first port is located upstream of the restriction and a second port is located downstream of the restriction to enable monitoring of a differential pressure across the restriction. The differential pressure can be used to determine the desired flow parameter, e.g. volumetric flow. The system facilitates separation of gas from the liquid and utilizes a gas bypass. The gas bypass routes the separated gas past the restriction, e.g. wedge, before directing the gas back into the fluid flow path.

  • Patent number: 11872981
Abstract: A driver assistance system for a motor vehicle performs a maneuver using a trajectory determined according to an external environment. The vehicle has a plurality of environment sensors and a controller device configured to acquire an environment data set (UDS) using the environment sensors, which it transmits to a cloud computer. The cloud computer reads in the environment data set (UDS), generates a supplemental data set (EDS) for supplementing the environment data set (UDS), combines the environment data set (UDS) with the supplemental data set (EDS) in order to generate a supplemented environment data set (UDS?), and transmits the supplemented environment data set (UDS?) to the controller device. The supplemental data set (EDS) may be obtained by evaluating data of other road users within a predetermined radius of the vehicle. The controller device evaluates the supplemented environment data set (UDS?) for the purpose of controlling the trajectory.
