Abstract: Methods and structures for forming strained-channel finFETs are described. Fin structures for finFETs may be formed using two epitaxial layers of different lattice constants that are grown over a bulk substrate. A first thin, strained, epitaxial layer may be cut to form strain-relieved base structures for fins. The base structures may be constrained in a strained-relieved state. Fin structures may be epitaxially grown in a second layer over the base structures. The constrained base structures can cause higher amounts of strain to form in the epitaxially-grown fins than would occur for non-constrained base structures.
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided herein for determining the handedness of input provided by a user via a touch interface. For instance, for each touch-based input detected, a score indicating a probability whether the touch-based input was inputted by a particular hand of the user is generated. A classification for the touch-based input is then generated based on a drift diffusion model-based technique in which inter-dependencies between a series of touch-based input are approximated. The determined classifications are used to determine the handedness of the user.

The at least one panel may be removably mounted to the carrier component by simultaneous engagement with a first support member of the plurality of support members and a second support member of the plurality of support members. At least a portion of the first and second support members may be located within a cavity of the at least one panel when the at least one panel is mounted to the carrier component.
Abstract: An air conditioning system and methods of use regulate a moisture content of an agricultural product in a grain bin. The system receives headspace air from the headspace of the grain bin, which generally has a higher moisture content than ambient air. The system further receives ambient air and mixes the headspace air and the ambient air into a ratio comprising a target moisture content. The air mixture is provided into a grain bin plenum, where it then permeates through to agricultural product, thereby regulating the moisture. The system and method can be used to bring the agricultural product to a target moisture content that is preferred when storing the agricultural product.
Abstract: Implementations relate to managing multimedia content that is obtained by large language model(s) (LLM(s)) and/or generated by other generative model(s). Processor(s) of a system can: receive natural language (NL) based input that requests multimedia content, generate a response that is responsive to the NL based input, and cause the response to be rendered. In some implementations, and in generating the response, the processor(s) can process, using a LLM, LLM input to generate LLM output, and determine, based on the LLM output, at least multimedia content to be included in the response. Further, the processor(s) can evaluate the multimedia content to determine whether it should be included in the response. In response to determining that the multimedia content should not be included in the response, the processor(s) can cause the response, including alternative multimedia content or other textual content, to be rendered.

Abstract: Multi-color flash with image post-processing that uses a camera device with a multi-color flash and implements post-processing to generate images is described. In one aspect, the multi-color flash with image post-processing may be implemented by a controller configured to control a camera and flashes of at least two different colors. The controller may be configured to cause the camera to acquire a first image of a scene while the scene is being illuminated with the first flash but not the second flash, then cause the camera to acquire a second image of the scene while the scene is being illuminated with the second flash but not the first flash, and generate a final image of the scene in post-processing based on a combination of the first image and the second image.

Abstract: PWM-frame rate misalignment is mitigated through implementation of a discrete variable refresh rate (VRR) scheme. A target frame rate is limited to a frame rate selected from only those frame rates that facilitate alignment of each frame period to a specified edge of a PWM cycle of a brightness control signal of a display panel. This alignment results in each frame period at the selected frame rate starting at a same point in a corresponding PWM cycle and ending at a same point in a corresponding PWM cycle to help ensure a constant effective duty cycle across each successive frame period, which in turn mitigates perception of flicker that otherwise would arise. Further, the discrete VRR scheme can employ a compensation mode for compensating for the delay in rendering or otherwise obtaining a frame for display so as to maintain a consistent duty cycle in the brightness control signal.

Abstract: Implementations set forth herein relate to an automated assistant that uses circumstantial condition data, generated based on circumstantial conditions of an input, to determine whether the input should affect an action been initialized by a particular user. The automated assistant can allow each user to manipulate their respective ongoing action without necessitating interruptions for soliciting explicit user authentication. For example, when an individual in a group of persons interacts with the automated assistant to initialize or affect a particular ongoing action, the automated assistant can generate data that correlates that individual to the particular ongoing action. The data can be generated using a variety of different input modalities, which can be dynamically selected based on changing circumstances of the individual. Therefore, different sets of input modalities can be processed each time a user provides an input for modifying an ongoing action and/or initializing another action.

Abstract: A shoe insert is configured as a single component with a specifically-configured shape that provides internal shoe structural support while enhancing airflow within the shoe. The shoe insert is comprised of a rigid structure, such as plastic, that engages with the inner and outer sides of the shoe to provide sufficient support. The shoe insert's inner and outer sides, which engage with the shoe's inner and outer sides, have a grip portion with an upper opening substantially positioned at the shoe's ankle opening. This upper opening enables air to flow therethrough and provide breath to the shoe's interior cavity. Airflow holes spread sporadically throughout the shoe insert's body enables air to flow through the shoe insert and engage the shoe to provide breathability, thereby preventing moisture, mold, and stench.
