Abstract: A database system is operable to determine a query expression that includes a call to a differentiation function, and execute the query expression based on determining an ordered set of input rows to the differentiation function based on accessing a corresponding plurality of relational database rows in at least one relational database table, and further based on generating an ordered set of output values as output of executing the differentiation function upon the ordered set of input rows based on performing a window function upon each row in the ordered set of input rows to return a differentiation output value for the each row as a function of a set of multiple consecutive rows in the ordered set of input rows that includes the each row.

A control system determines a torque command based on an inverter temperature, a stator temperature of a stator of an electric motor, and a rotor temperature of a rotor of the electric motor. The electric motor is operated to provide torque based on the torque command.

Abstract: A first node in a distributed blockchain ledger validates all remaining nodes in the distributed blockchain ledger to secure the distributed blockchain ledger. The remaining nodes in the distributed blockchain ledger can be validated in various ways. For example, an encrypted package can be exchanged to obtain a unique session key for each of the remaining nodes in the distributed blockchain ledger. Another alternative is to receive split-key fragments from all the nodes in the distributed blockchain ledger. The received split-key fragments are used to generate a common key for validating all the remaining nodes in the distributed blockchain ledger.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving, over a communication network, a first message utilizing a first messaging application from a first communication device associated with a first user and identifying a recipient of the first message as a second user associated with a second communication device. Further embodiments can include determining that the second user utilizes a second message application to exchange a first group of messages via the second communication device resulting in a first determination, and transmitting, over the communication network, the first message to the second communication device utilizing the second messaging application based on the first determination. Abstract: Described herein are systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for a coated fiber modified by actinic radiation to increase back-scattering, which experiences very little back-scattering decay at a temperature and time of exposure that is sufficient to noticeably degrade the coating and/or noticeably degrade the optical fiber due to outgassing of hydrogen from the coating. In one embodiment, an optical fiber comprises a fiber length, a coating having a treated coating weight, wherein the treated coating weight is at least 25% less of an original coating weight prior to an annealing treatment, and an optical back-scatter along the fiber length greater than a Rayleigh back-scattering over the fiber length, wherein the optical back-scatter does not decrease along the fiber length by more than 3 dB after exposure to annealing treatment.

Abstract: A technology is disclosed for the browser side capturing of user interaction session data and replay of the session data for a high-fidelity reconstruction of the experience the user perceived. In addition to capturing central structuring and markup documents and browser side updates thereof, additional resource documents that are loaded and used by the browser to render the central documents are captured and added to the session recording data. Identification information is created for resource documents, based on the content of those documents, which allows the capturing system to distinguish different versions of those content documents that share the same name but have different content. The captured session data contains data to identify the correct versions of resource documents during replay. Various measures to reduce the amount of transferred resource content data are applied, that consider already captured resource document versions or the usage frequency of a monitored application.

Abstract: In order to lower the peak and average current through the channel (thereby lowering peak and average power consumption) during program-verify, which exhibits a word line dependency, the inventors propose to program dummy memory cells connected to a dummy word line before programming data memory cells connected to a data word line. The additional resistance in the NAND string introduced by the preprogrammed dummy memory cells will cause the peak current, and power consumption, to be lower. To address the word line dependency, the dummy memory cells connected to the dummy word line can be programmed to different threshold voltages based on which data word line is to be programmed. Thus, prior to programming data non-volatile memory cells connected to a particular data word line, the dummy memory cells are programmed to a threshold voltage that is chosen based on the position of the particular data word line.

Abstract: A method of forming an implant includes: placing a porous scaffold having a plurality of pores formed therein in a mold part cavity of a mold cavity of a mold, the porous scaffold including two portions of biocompatible material and a barrier layer disposed between the two portions, the barrier layer including a solid sheet having a plurality of vent openings that are sized to allow gas to vent therethrough; and injecting molding material into the mold cavity to fill the mold cavity and form the implant, wherein at least some of the gas in the mold cavity vents through the vent openings during the injecting.

Abstract: Various embodiments comprise systems, methods, and apparatus providing substantially automated provisioning and provisioning management of CPE within a system using unlicensed spectrum so as to ensure that the CPE operate only within an allowed spectral region irrespective of CPA capability. The automated system utilizes an identification of CPE being installed to automatically determine CPE capability, configure the CPE as needed to avoid CPE operation outside of the allowed spectral region, and generate approval-ready CPE credentials suitable for use by a Spectrum Access System (SAS).

Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for controlling electrical power outlets in a vehicle. An example method executed by a processor of an electrical power outlet controller includes detecting a transitioning of a vehicle to a drive mode and further includes disconnecting, based on the transitioning, electrical power supplied to a first electrical power outlet in the vehicle. The transitioning of the vehicle to the drive mode may be detected based on a transition of a drive selector of the vehicle from a park position to a drive position. In another example method, the processor, detects the vehicle in motion and disconnects electrical power supplied to a second electrical power outlet in the vehicle. The first electrical power outlet and/or the second electrical power outlet are accessible from outside the vehicle, and may, for example, be located outside a cabin area of the vehicle.

Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for detecting that the vehicle is in a reverse mode, receiving a road surface topology, determining a feature of interest is within a collected image and outside a displayed field of view (FOV) for a rear-facing camera due to the road surface topology, adjusting the displayed FOV for the rear-facing camera to place the feature of interest within the displayed FOV. Receiving a reverse mode indication may be over a controller area network (CAN) bus in the vehicle. Receiving a road surface topology includes receiving an estimate of the road surface topology via at least one of monocular depth estimation, photogrammetric range imaging using structure from motion (SFM), multi-view stereo, imaging radar, lidar and a sensor system on the vehicle.
