Abstract: Described herein is a method of administering injectable cetirizine or levocetirizine to treat acute urticaria, with or without concomitant angioedema, without life-threatening airway swelling by intravenously injecting a human patient within minutes to hours of developing acute urticaria in an emergency department or clinic with a therapeutically effective amount of an injectable cetirizine or levocetirizine composition. In the method, the injectable cetirizine or levocetirizine is the only treatment administered in the emergency department or clinic. The method can include determining, by the patient, a patient rated pruritus severity score at a 1 hour assessment, and optionally at a 2 hours assessment, and a physician discharging the human patient after 1.7±0.9 hours in the emergency department or clinic, wherein the human patient has a patient rated pruritus severity score reduction of at least 1 unit and baseline sedation at the time of discharge.

Abstract: Examples provide a door assembly including a dual operation slide device for a sliding privacy door associated with a seat unit. The door assembly includes a sliding door movably mounted to a door support member of a seat unit. The door slides laterally between a retracted position and a deployed or partially deployed position. The dual operation slide device includes a trigger and release mechanism for switching the door assembly from a primary track system used during a normal operation mode to a secondary track system used during a backup operation mode if the primary track becomes jammed or otherwise malfunctions based on manual activation of a release lever or force applied activation. The dual operation slide device enables a user to return the sliding door to a retracted position after a failure of the primary slide units to operate in the normal operational mode.

Abstract: Methods and compositions are provided for the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) by administering to a patient a therapeutically effective amount of an agent that inhibits signaling mediated by a bone morphogenetic protein type 1A receptor (BMPR-1A) or bone morphogenetic protein type 2 receptor (BMPR-2). Also provided are methods and compositions to increase the rate of neural stem cell self-renewal.

Abstract: A balloon catheter includes a tubular body and a balloon circumferentially around a portion of the tubular body. The tubular body includes an outer surface and an inner surface defining a lumen of the tubular body. The balloon comprises a proximal end portion and a distal end portion each being secured to the tubular body, and a distensible portion defining an interior that is in fluid communication with the lumen of the tubular body. The distal end portion of the balloon extends through the outer surface and the inner surface into the lumen of the tubular body, forming a sealing portion circumferentially around the inner surface of the tubular body. A catheter assembly including a balloon catheter and a method of use are also provided.

The or each server is configured to match complementary requests from the plurality of client computers stored in the store. Following the matching of complementary requests, the or each server counts unmatched requests corresponding to one or other of the complementary requests in the store, and outputs the counted number of unmatched requests to provide the indication of activity in the computer system.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determining an emotion of a human driver of a vehicle and using the emotion for generating a vehicle response, is provided. One example method includes processing captured voice data from the human driver over a period of time while the human driver operates the vehicle. The method includes analyzing the voice data to assist in prediction of the emotion of the human driver. The method includes generating the vehicle response. The vehicle response is selected in part based on the emotion that was predicted for the human driver.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for enhancing memory utilization and throughput of a computing platform in training a deep neural network (DNN). The critical features of the method includes: calculating a memory size for every operation in a computational graph, storing the operations in the computational graph in multiple groups with the operations in each group being executable in parallel and a total memory size less than a memory threshold of a computational device, sequentially selecting a group and updating a prefetched group buffer, and simultaneously executing the group and prefetching data for a group in the prefetched group buffer to the corresponding computational device when the prefetched group buffer is update. Because of group execution and data prefetch, the memory utilization is optimized and the throughput is significantly increased to eliminate issues of out-of-memory and thrashing.

Abstract: A system for forming a pressware product from a web of a roll of material includes a positive mold, a negative mold, a heating element, an actuator, a force sensor, and a control system. The positive mold forms a top surface of the pressware product. The negative mold forms a bottom surface of the pressware product. The heating element is coupled to the positive mold or the negative mold. The actuator shifts the positive mold or the negative mold to cut and form the pressware product in a single stroke. The force sensor detects the forming force applied by the actuator, and the control system directs the actuator to adjust the forming force.

Abstract: A configurable wireless access device is provided. Among other things, a wireless protocol may offer the use of multiple channels on a frequency spectrum. However, certain channels in certain parts of the world may be restricted, while those same channels in different geographic areas may be legal to use for wireless access device(s) and extender device(s). In examples, the wireless access device(s) may include a location transceiver, such as a global positioning satellite (GPS) transceiver, to allow the wireless access device(s) or associated systems to (a) determine the position of the wireless access device; (b) determine whether that position is within a restricted area; and (c) if so, automatically disable access to the restricted channels/bandwidth and, if not, permit access to the restricted channels/bandwidth.
