  • Patent number: 11876675
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method of migrating a first software defined (SD) network managed by a first network manager to a second SD network managed by a second network manager. The method of some embodiments is performed by a third network manager that provides an interface that allows a set of users to specify and review logical network components, which the first and second network managers can then respectively deploy in the first and second SD networks. The third network manager in some embodiments identifies for a migration manager a first group of two or more logical network components that the third network manager previously specified for the first network manager to deploy in the first SD network.

  • Patent number: 11877039
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to extend a time range supported by a watermark are disclosed. Example watermark encoding apparatus disclosed herein determine which one of a plurality of timestamp cycles is to be represented by a timestamp of a watermark, the timestamp including a set of timestamp symbols, a first subset of data symbols and a second subset of data symbols. Disclosed example apparatus also modify the first subset of data symbols of the watermark based on a further timestamp symbol not included in the set of timestamp symbols of the timestamp, but not modify the second subset of data symbols based on the further timestamp symbol, the further timestamp symbol to identify the one of the plurality of timestamp cycles to be represented by the timestamp of the watermark. Disclosed example apparatus further embed the watermark in a piece of media.

  • Patent number: 11877344
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for improving coverage and/or power-saving in a wireless network. In one embodiment, the apparatus and methods provide mechanisms for wireless user device (such as e.g., a 3GPP-compliant UE) to utilize downlink transmissions related to a first access technology (e.g., LTE) to enhance the detection and reception of downlink transmissions from a second access technology (e.g., 5G NR). In one variant, transmissions relating both access technologies are multiplexed on a shared frequency channel; a UE trying to detect 5G NR transmissions from a gNB leverages the easier detection of certain LTE signals such as PSS to enhance detection of the 5G NR signals. Moreover, the location of the LTE PSS (or SSS) can be used to indirectly assist a UE with detection of the NR SSB, such as via reduction of the number of noise-only samples passed to the NR PSS/SSS autocorrelation detector.

  • Patent number: 11872998
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for cross-validating a second sensor with a first sensor. Cross-validating the second sensor may include obtaining sensor readings from the first sensor and comparing the sensor readings from the first sensor with sensor readings obtained from the second sensor. In particular, the comparison of the sensor readings may include comparing state information about a vehicle detected by the first sensor and the second sensor. In addition, comparing the sensor readings may include obtaining a first image from the first sensor, obtaining a second image from the second sensor, and then comparing various characteristics of the images. One characteristic that may be compared are object labels applied to the vehicle detected by the first and second sensor. The first and second sensors may be different types of sensors.

  • Patent number: 11875374
Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for automated audit analysis and providing of cost reduction recommendations associated with services used and/or received by an entity. In general, invoice data associated with a service associated with an entity (e.g. a customer) is obtained and processed in order to identify at least one of billing errors and inefficiencies. The processing of invoice data is generally performed by computationally identifying relevant invoice information and comparing this information with data from a proprietary service optimization database. When errors and/or inefficiencies are identified, recommendations to remedy the inefficiencies and/or errors are provided to the entity so that cost reduction actions can be taken.

  • Patent number: 11875957
Abstract: A high voltage electric switch includes contacts with graphite carbon electrode forming the arc gap. In addition, the carbon contacts are located in a chamber containing at least 60% carbon dioxide (CO2) as a dielectric gas to achieve improved arc interrupting performance. In conventional switches, the metallic contacts introduce metallic vapors into the arc plasma that inhibits the ability of the dielectric gas to interrupt high voltage, high current arcs. As the element carbon is inherently present in CO2 gas, the addition of vapors from the carbon electrodes into the dielectric gas does not significantly interfere with the dielectric arc-interrupting performance of the CO2 dielectric gas.

  • Patent number: 11872487
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided for interconnecting plugins of a content overlay engine that is executed with a video game. In an example system, a data manager that includes a plugin manager and an event reporting orchestrator is executed concurrently with the video game. The plugin manager identifies a set of plugins that includes at least a consumer plugin and a producer plugin coupled to the data manager. The plugin manager also identifies an event type that is to be reported to the consumer plugin. The event reporting orchestrator receives a notification of a first event from the producer plugin during execution of the video game, and determines if the first event is of the event type to be reported to the consumer plugin. If the first event is of the event type, information associated with the first event is reported to the consumer plugin.
