Abstract: This specification discloses LEDs in which the light emitting active region of the semiconductor diode structure is located within an optical cavity defined by a nanostructured layer embedded within the semiconductor diode structure on one side of the active region and a reflector located on the opposite side of the active region from the embedded nanostructured layer. The reflector may, for example, be a conventional specular reflector disposed on or adjacent to a surface of the semiconductor diode structure. Alternatively, the reflector may or comprise a nanostructured layer. The reflector may comprise a nanostructured layer and a specular reflector, with the nanostructured layer disposed adjacent to the specular reflector between the specular reflector and the active region.
Abstract: Various embodiments enable a web site to expose various search providers that it promotes to browsers that navigate to that site. In at least some embodiments, the search providers are exposed using the HTML of a web page. When a browser navigates to that site, it processes the HTML of the associated web page and exposes the promoted search providers to the user. In at least some embodiments, the browser can permit use of one or more search providers without requiring the user to install the search provider. Alternately or additionally, in at least some other embodiments, the browser can enable the user to quickly and efficiently install the search provider so that the search provider can be available whenever the user uses their browser application.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for receiving, by a computing device, a Write-Same operation from a host for a range of logical block addresses of a destination. Data may be recorded in a buffer to indicate that the Write-Same operation is complete prior to completing the Write-Same operation. An acknowledgment may be sent to the host that the Write-Same operation is complete prior to flushing to a final destination. The Write-Same operation for the logical block addresses of the destination may be performed after sending the acknowledgment to the host that the Write-Same operation is complete.
Abstract: Compositions comprising extracellular matrix (ECM) materials and methods of use thereof are disclosed. The compositions may comprise two or more ECM materials derived from different types of tissues, such as, e.g., lung tissue and spleen tissue, formulated for administration to a patient or configured as a medical device for implantation in or application to the patient. The compositions may combine complementary properties of different types of ECM materials for customized patient-specific and/or site-specific tissue repair and/or regeneration.

Abstract: Systems and methods of detecting a fuel leak are provided. A method of detecting a fuel leak within a turbomachine combustor includes a step of monitoring, by a controller, a sensor output from a particulate matter sensor positioned on a component within the combustor. The sensor output includes one of a fault state sensor output or a non-fault state sensor output. The method further includes receiving, with the controller, the fault state sensor output from the particulate matter sensor when a fuel leak is present within the combustor.

Abstract: A system and method for automatically analyzing and managing a media huh software update. The system and method each utilize available media hub system and diagnostic information to aid in the analysis and installation of a software update. If the installation of the update is determined to require memory capacity in excess of what is currently available within the media hub, an archive and off-loading process is automatically initiated to free the required memory space during the installation process. Any off-loaded information and/or applications are then restored after the installation is complete.
Abstract: In User Equipment (UE) at various geographic locations, circuitry exchanges TCP packets with radios, and the radios wirelessly exchange the TCP packets with wireless communication nodes. The circuitry determines TCP retransmission rates for the radios at the geographic locations. The circuitry estimates TCP retransmission rates for the radios at a new geographic location based on the TCP retransmission rates for the radios at the past geographic locations. The circuitry selects one of the radios based on the estimated TCP retransmission rates at the new geographic location. At the new geographic location, the circuitry exchanges new TCP packets with the selected one of the radios, and the selected one of the radios wirelessly exchanges the new TCP packets with one of the wireless communication nodes.

Abstract: A header including a front and rear wheel assembly, each assembly having an axle and two wheels. Each wheel assembly is coupled to the main body of the header by an actuating system having an actuator mechanism for actuating a swivel movement of the axle and the wheels to bring the wheel assembly to or from a road transport position. The front and rear wheel assemblies are equipped with tie rod arrangements for steering the header when it is transported on the road. The wheels of the wheel assemblies are operated as caster wheels. The tie rod arrangement of the front wheel assembly is coupled to a pivotable base connected to, or connectable to, a drawbar. The wheel assemblies have respective actuators which are synchronized so as to synchronize the position of the front and rear wheels.
Abstract: A bulkhead for transmitting detonation signals. The bulkhead is designed for use with a perforating gun assembly. The bulkhead comprises an elongated tubular body having a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a bore extending from the first end to the second end. The bulkhead also includes a signal pin residing within the bore of the bulkhead. The signal pin also has a first end, and a second end opposite the first end. An electrically conductive wire is connected to the second end of the signal pin at the second end of the bulkhead. The bulkhead also comprises an end piece extending from the second end of the bulkhead. The end piece closely holds the conductive wire in place. Preferably, the end piece is over-molded to securely hold the detonator wire.
Abstract: A device operative to transfer power wirelessly includes a drive-sense circuit (DSC), memory that stores operational instructions, and processing module(s). The DSC generates a drive signal based on a reference signal and provides the drive signal to a first coil via a single line and via a resonating capacitor, and simultaneously senses the drive signal via the single line, to facilitate electromagnetic coupling to a second coil to transfer power wirelessly to another device. The DSC also detects electrical characteristic(s) of the drive signal. The processing module(s) generates the reference signal and processes the digital signal to determine the electrical characteristic(s) of the drive signal. In some examples, the processing module(s) adapts the reference signal based on detection of the other device (e.g., based on interpreting the electrical characteristic(s) of the drive signal).

Abstract: A system for forming a pressware product from a web of a roll of material comprises a positive mold, a negative mold, a heating element, an actuator, a force sensor, and a control system. The positive mold forms a top surface of the pressware product. The negative mold forms a bottom surface of the pressware product. The heating element is coupled to the positive mold or the negative mold. The actuator shifts the positive mold or the negative mold to cut and form the pressware product in a single stroke. The force sensor detects the forming force applied by the actuator, and the control system directs the actuator to adjust the forming force.

Abstract: A vehicular slider window assembly includes at least one fixed window panel having an opening, and upper and lower rails fixedly disposed at the at least one fixed window panel. A movable window panel is movable along the rails between a closed position and an opened position. A perimeter seal is disposed at a surface of the fixed window panel, with the perimeter seal providing a continuous sealing element that circumscribes the opening and that is configured to seal against a surface of the movable window panel when the movable window panel is closed. Abstract: A lid may be sized and configured to be attached to a container and the lid may include a spout and a flip-top closure. The flip-top closure may be movable between open and closed positions relative to the spout. The lid may also include a carrying member with a loop-shaped configuration. Abstract: Implementations relate to using deep reinforcement learning to train a model that can be utilized, at each of a plurality of time steps, to determine a corresponding robotic action for completing a robotic task. Implementations additionally or alternatively relate to utilization of such a model in controlling a robot. The robotic action determined at a given time step utilizing such a model can be based on: current sensor data associated with the robot for the given time step, and free-form natural language input provided by a user. The free-form natural language input can direct the robot to accomplish a particular task, optionally with reference to one or more intermediary steps for accomplishing the particular task. For example, the free-form natural language input can direct the robot to navigate to a particular landmark, with reference to one or more intermediary landmarks to be encountered in navigating to the particular landmark.
