Patent number: 11943364Abstract: In one embodiment, a set of feature vectors can be derived from any biometric data, and then using a deep neural network (“DNN”) on those one-way homomorphic encryptions (i.e., each biometrics' feature vector) an authentication system can determine matches or execute searches on encrypted data. Each biometrics' feature vector can then be stored and/or used in conjunction with respective classifications, for use in subsequent comparisons without fear of compromising the original biometric data. In various embodiments, the original biometric data is discarded responsive to generating the encrypted values. In another embodiment, the homomorphic encryption enables computations and comparisons on cypher text without decryption of the encrypted feature vectors. Security of such privacy enable biometrics can be increased by implementing an assurance factor (e.g., liveness) to establish a submitted biometric has not been spoofed or faked.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2022Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Private Identity LLCInventor: Scott Edward Streit

Patent number: 11940504Abstract: A Hall effect sensor system includes a Hall effect sensor and a drive-sense circuit (DSC). The Hall effect sensor includes an input port to receive a DC (direct current) current signal and generates a Hall voltage based on exposure to a magnetic field. The DSC generates the DC current signal based on a reference signal and drives it via a single line that operably couples the DSC to the Hall effect sensor and simultaneously to sense the DC current signal via the single line. The DSC detects an effect on the DC current signal corresponding to the Hall voltage that is generated across the Hall effect sensor based on exposure of the Hall effect sensor to the magnetic field and generates a digital signal representative of the Hall voltage.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: SIGMASENSE, LLC.Inventors: Patrick Troy Gray, Gerald Dale Morrison, Daniel Keith Van Ostrand, Richard Stuart Seger, Jr.

Patent number: 11941879Abstract: Implementations are disclosed for selectively operating edge-based sensors and/or computational resources under circumstances dictated by observation of targeted plant trait(s) to generate targeted agricultural inferences. In various implementations, triage data may be acquired at a first level of detail from a sensor of an edge computing node carried through an agricultural field. The triage data may be locally processed at the edge using machine learning model(s) to detect targeted plant trait(s) exhibited by plant(s) in the field. Based on the detected plant trait(s), a region of interest (ROI) may be established in the field. Targeted inference data may be acquired at a second, greater level of detail from the sensor while the sensor is carried through the ROI. The targeted inference data may be locally processed at the edge using one or more of the machine learning models to make a targeted inference about plants within the ROI.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2020Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: MINERAL EARTH SCIENCES LLCInventors: Sergey Yaroshenko, Zhiqiang Yuan
