Abstract: The invention provides the use of a formulation containing cyclodextrine, quercetin and zinc at appropriate concentrations to mitigate infections by enveloped viruses, such as COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2), influenza and HIV. While the different forms of cyclodextrin prevent the entry of coated viruses into host cells by extracting and sequestering cholesterol molecules at the virus envelope and at the host cell plasma membrane, the natural plant-based ionophore quercetin in the formulation enables cellular entry of zinc, inhibiting viral replication by altering polymerase activity in the host cell. SUBSTANCE: This formulation is adapted for both surface use and introduction to a subject by dispersal, utilizing the known methods of measured nasal sprays or inhalers, wet wipes and medicated masks. The formulation is introduced in the form of an aqueous phosphate buffered saline pH 7.5 solution, containing 0.

Abstract: Batch de-identification of unstructured health care documents includes performing optical character recognition (OCR) upon a form-based document so as to produce an initial set of terms. Amongst the initial set of terms, initial specific terms are identified which contain protected information. Each of the identified initial specific terms are then replaced with synthetically generated corresponding terms. Subsequently, additional OCR is performed upon the form-based document so as to produce a new set of terms and new specific terms are identified amongst the new set of terms which are determined to contain protected information. Finally, the new specific terms are compared to the initial specific terms and the form-based document is then added to a repository of de-identified documents only if none of the new specific terms are equivalent to corresponding ones of the initial specific terms. But otherwise, the form-based document is flagged in error.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes various aspects of adaptive sounding reference signal mapping that a user equipment (UE) implements to improve channel estimation. In aspects, a set of sounding reference signal (SRS) symbols are generated that include at least first and second SRS symbols. An offset for the second SRS symbol is determined based on a difference between a first radio chain and a second radio chain of the UE. The first and second SRS symbols are then mapped to an antenna port of the first radio chain. The UE transmits the first SRS symbol to a base station via the antenna port of the first radio chain and transmits the second SRS symbol to the base station via the antenna port of the first radio chain while the offset is applied to the first radio chain. By so doing, the UE may improve channel estimation for uplink and/or downlink communications.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein are directed to managing device compliance for devices that are connected to an enterprise network. For example, a mobile device manager may provide configuration settings to a computing device, which implements the settings in order to be compliant with an enterprise's data and/or security policy. The mobile device manager also maintains a local reference of each device's configuration settings implemented thereby. When the mobile device manager subsequently performs a determination as to whether the computing device is still in compliance, the mobile device manager simply needs to refer to the local reference to determine the computing device's settings instead of explicitly querying the computing device for its settings.
