Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and non-transitory computer-readable storage mediums for processing media streams. An apparatus includes processing circuitry that sends a message to a media aware network element that is configured to process a plurality of audio streams of a conference call. The message indicates that the plurality of audio streams is to be down mixed by the media aware network element. The processing circuitry receives the down mixed plurality of audio streams from the media aware network element and decodes the down mixed plurality of audio streams to receive the conference call.

Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage mediums are described for rendering document changes. A first document is rendered in a client user interface (UI) based at least on a first intermediate format representation obtained from a server. A change initiator receives a request for a change to the first document and transmits information indicative of the change to the server. A client renderer selectively modifies a portion of the first intermediate format representation at the client based on the change and renders a modified first document in the UI based at least on the modified first intermediate format representation. The client renderer obtains a second intermediate format representation from the server, where the second intermediate format representation comprises an intermediate format representation generated through processing an updated document definition. The client renderer renders the second document in the UI based at least on the second intermediate format representation.

Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, a physical game element such as a wagering chip or a playing card may be utilized to implement a promotion scheme on an electronic card table (e.g., using RFID or optical imaging technology). During a game it may be determined whether the element is associated with special functionality (e.g., entitles the player to a payout multiplier, special payout table, bonus prize or other benefit). The special functionality may have been previously associated with the element or associated with the element during the game (e.g., dynamically and/or randomly). In accordance with some embodiments a player is not able to readily discern the special functionality by a physical inspection of the physical game element and is only notified of the special functionality once the physical game element is used in a qualifying action (e.g., during a wager at an electronic card table).

Abstract: A concrete structure formed of a mixture of concrete and a plurality of custom manufactured twisted steel micro-reinforcements (TSMRs). Each TSMR has a twist pitch of two or more twists per 25.4 mm applied along its longitudinal axis. The TSMRs are made from a common base stock and have the number of twists predetermined such that a concrete structure formed with at least 10 wt. % per unit volume less TSMRs than fibers in a conventional concrete structure exhibits the same or better performance than the conventional concrete structure in one or more of a stress, deflection, energy, or crack mouth opening (CMOD) properties as determined through defined standard tests. The performance requirement may be based on the actual test result and/or the consistency (coefficient of variation of the result).

Abstract: A recessed downlight fixture and method for installation is provided. The recessed downlight fixture can be installed in a retrofit application, after a ceiling is installed, through a pre-existing opening in that ceiling. Alternatively, a recessed downlight fixture according to a second embodiment can be installed before a ceiling is present. In either embodiment, the light source coupled to, for example, a heat sink, can be universally moved in three degrees of movement, rotationally, along a tilt axis, or further within the ceiling to increase or decrease the recess. All such universal adjustments can take place through and below the ceiling opening during or after installation.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computing system for receiving data for storage in a storage system. The data may be written to a head entry of a log buffer, wherein the log buffer includes a plurality of data entries for flushing to the storage system. At least a portion of the plurality of data entries of the log buffer may be flushed, via a plurality of threads, to the storage system based upon, at least in part, a tail entry of the log buffer. A queue of committed data entries may be updated, via each thread of the plurality of threads, with one or more data entries of the log buffer flushed to the storage system by each thread. A new tail entry of the log buffer may be determined, via a thread of the plurality of threads, based upon, at least in part, the queue of committed data entries.

The system can filter content received from a remote database coupled to a network to provide a graphical user interface to enable strategic decision making to expand utilization of a product. The system can include a local client computer to generate access to content stored in the remote database, at least one filtering scheme, a set of selectable filters configured to filter the content stored in the remote database according to the at least one filtering scheme, and a remote server coupled to the local client computer via the network to analyze access restrictions to the product based on a selected filter and the at least one filtering scheme to generate a graphical user interface displayed on the local client computer.

Abstract: A method of making a negative electrode for an electrochemical cell of a secondary lithium battery. The negative electrode includes composite Li—Si alloy particles dispersed in a polymer binder. The composite Li—Si alloy particles are formed by contacting Li—Si alloy particles with a precursor solution that includes a phosphorus sulfide compound dissolved in an organic solvent to form a lithium thiophosphate solid electrolyte layer over an entire outer surface of each of the Li—Si alloy particles.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for machine learning systems to process incoming call-center calls based on inferred themes. The machine learning system extracts a topic and keywords associated with the topic from a plurality of interactive communications and ranks the keywords based on a frequency of occurrence within the plurality of interactive communications. The machine learning systems select an N highest ranked keywords from the plurality of interactive communications, compares the N highest ranked keywords to previously extracted N highest ranked keywords to identify new keywords, and determines, based on new keywords, that an emerging topic has been articulated in the plurality of interactive communications.

Abstract: Fish attractor and escape habitat systems are disclosed. The fish attractor and escape habitat systems include a pyramid-shaped base structure having a plurality of side walls forming an interior space and having an open bottom and an open top, where the side walls include elongated slots for fish to swim into and out of the interior space and brace slots for receiving braces that provide shade for the fish. Spawning devices and conservation systems for fish forage growth are also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, devices, and machine-readable mediums which utilize digital tracking tags attached to data to monitor and/or control the data as it moves between applications and/or computing devices. The digital tracking tag may be embedded in the data (e.g., as a digital watermark) or associated with the data e.g., as metadata. In some examples, the digital tracking tag may include an address of a tracking database with which to record one or more events related to the data. For example, recipients, senders, or other participants in a data transfer event may register the data transfer event with the tracking database.

Abstract: Enforcing data ownership may include receiving a request to register an application programming interface (API) endpoint. A plurality of elements of the API endpoint and a target API endpoint may be preprocessed. A distance may be computed for each of element of the API endpoint relative to at least one of the elements of the target API endpoint. A distance score for the API endpoint may be computed based on the distance scores. A term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) value may be computed for a plurality of metadata terms of the API endpoint and the target API endpoint. A similarity score between the TF-IDF values of the metadata terms may be computed. An adjusted score may be computed for the API endpoint based on the distance score and the similarity scores. The API endpoint may be registered based on the adjusted score being below a permissions threshold.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content providing, searching and/or hosting systems supported by or configured with devices, servers and/or platforms. The disclosed systems and methods provide a framework for delivering electronic messages to a recipient in an optimized manner based on current real-world and digital activities associated with the recipient. Once a message sent by a sender is received by the message platform, the message and information related to a user's activity is analyzed, and a delivery condition is determined by the messaging platform. The platform then sends the message according to that delivery condition, such that it is delivered to the user only upon the platform relaying the message thereon when the condition is satisfied or occurs.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for automatic refinement of intent classification for virtual assistant applications. A computing device creates utterance groups comprising messages. The device determines, using a first machine learning (ML) classifier, a first predicted intent associated with each utterance group and determines, using a second ML classifier, a second predicted intent associated with each utterance group. The device combines the first and second predicted intents to generate a final predicted intent, determines, for each incomprehensible utterance group, whether the final predicted intent overlaps with the final predicted intent for other utterance groups, and selects messages having no overlapping intent to create new intents.
