  • Patent number: 11829688
Abstract: A system including one or more processors and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions that, when executed on the one or more processors, perform certain acts. The acts can include obtaining information about a trailer that has been partially loaded with preloaded stacks in a manner that deviates from an original load design. The trailer is being loaded with stacks of pallets comprising the preloaded stacks and unloaded stacks. The acts also can include determining positions of empty floor spots remaining in the trailer. The acts additionally can include determining a first portion of an incremental load design for the unloaded stacks using a gap-filling pattern behind an uneven rear edge of the preloaded stacks. The acts further can include determining a second portion of the incremental load design. The acts additionally can include updating the incremental load design based on an overall load design of the trailer.

  • Patent number: 11829423
Abstract: Described herein are technologies relating to predicting whether a resource is spam based solely upon a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) for the resource. The URL is tokenized in connection with generating a sequence of numerical identifiers for the resource. A score for the URL is computed based upon the sequence of numerical identifiers, where the score is indicative of a probability that the resource pointed to by the URL is spam. generating a score for the URL based upon the sequence of numbers, wherein the score is indicative of a probability that the resource pointed to by the URL is spam. When the score is above a predefined threshold, a label is assigned to the URL that indicates that the resource pointed to by the URL is spam, and an entry for the resource is not included in a search engine index based upon the label assigned to the URL.

  • Patent number: 11829804
Abstract: A processing system is described which assigns jobs to heterogeneous processing modules. The processing system assigns jobs to the processing modules in a manner that attempts to accommodate the service demands of the jobs, but without advance knowledge of the service demands. In one case, the processing system implements the processing modules as computing units that have different physical characteristics. Alternatively, or in addition, the processing system may implement the processing modules as threads that are executed by computing units. Each thread which runs on a computing unit offers a level of performance that depends on a number of other threads that are simultaneously being executed by the same computing unit.

  • Patent number: 11829252
Abstract: In connection with a data distribution architecture, client-side “deduplication” techniques may be utilized for data transfers occurring among various file system nodes. In some examples, these deduplication techniques involve fingerprinting file system elements that are being shared and transferred, and dividing each file into separate units referred to as “blocks” or “chunks.” These separate units may be used for independently rebuilding a file from local and remote collections, storage locations, or sources. The deduplication techniques may be applied to data transfers to prevent unnecessary data transfers, and to reduce the amount of bandwidth, processing power, and memory used to synchronize and transfer data among the file system nodes. The described deduplication concepts may also be applied for purposes of efficient file replication, data transfers, and file system events occurring within and among networks and file system nodes.

  • Patent number: 11827846
Abstract: Proppant embedment can sometimes be problematic during fracturing operations. A partially oxidized, amine-functionalized polysaccharide comprising a plurality of oxidatively opened monosaccharide units and bearing an amine moiety at one or more sites of oxidative opening may lessen the amount of proppant embedment that occurs. Fracturing methods may comprise providing a fracturing fluid comprising such a partially oxidized, amine-functionalized polysaccharide and a plurality of proppant particulates, introducing the fracturing fluid into a subterranean formation at a hydraulic pressure sufficient to create or extend one or more fractures therein, such that at least a portion of the plurality of proppant particulates become localized in the one or more fractures, and releasing the hydraulic pressure. Upon releasing the hydraulic pressure, embedment of the proppant particulates in a face of the one or more fractures is about 10% to about 40% of a grain size of the proppant particulates.
