  • Patent number: 11795901
Abstract: A pumped storage electricity generating system that includes a water feed line for introducing water into a pressure vessel. Water flow valves communicate with the pressure vessel to control introduction of water into the pressure vessel. A push plate is mounted for movement in the pressure vessel. A single motor, for example, hydraulic radial piston motors, may be adapted for reciprocating the push plate linearly between a first direction wherein water is drawn into the pressure vessel through the water flow valves and a second direction wherein water is conveyed downstream through the water discharge line under pressure to the hydroelectric turbine. Other embodiments are double-acting and convey water to the turbine on each stroke.

  • Patent number: 11797206
Abstract: Embodiments for migrating hash values for backup data blocks in a network of data protection targets (DPTs) and a common data protection target implementing a Gold image library management system in which backups of Gold images used as templates for physical machines and virtual machines are stored on the CDPT. The CDPT and each DPT stores backup data split into chunks that are uniquely identified by a respective hash of its contents, and maintains data structures comprising the hash, chunk size, chunk data, and a list of DPT and CDPT identifiers. The hashes are partitioned into a set of buckets in the CDPT. A Bloom filter is generated for each bucket of hashes, and stored in each DPT so that each DPT stores Bloom filters for all CDPTs in the network. Each DPT checks its list of hashes against the Bloom filters in each of the DPTs to determine whether to keep or free chunks of data.

  • Patent number: 11799822
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide for a proxyless NAT infrastructure with dynamic port allocation. A proxyless NAT infrastructure is configured to perform NAT between a network of virtual machines (VMs) and a device external to the network, without a device, such as a NAT server or a router, acting as a proxy. A system can include a control plane for provisioning VMs of a network, including configuring each VM to perform NAT and initially assigning a number of ports for communicating with other devices. The control plane maintains a feedback loop-receiving data characterizing port usage and network traffic at ports allocated to the various VMs and scaling the port allocation for each VM based on the received data. The control plane can allocate additional ports as determined to be needed by a VM, and later retrieve the ports to be reused for other VMs.

  • Patent number: 11793785
Abstract: Crystallized cannabis extract having a purple color is made by first providing cannabis having a detectable amounts of tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) as well as secondary components including terpenes. Pentane or other solvent is added to the cannabis material to dissolve the secondary components. The cannabis material is enclosed in a filter basket, or a rosin press filter bag, having an average pore diameter of 25 microns. The centrifuge spins the filter bag or filter basket to separate the THCA from the cannabis material and thereby yielding a primary product that is a concentrated cannabis material having at least 95% THCA and a secondary product (high terpene extract) having combined THCA and secondary components including terpenes. The concentrated cannabis material is distilled in a wiped film evaporator or a short path evaporator to oxidize the concentrated cannabis material and yield a super concentrated cannabis material having at least 98% THC.

  • Patent number: PP35435
Abstract: ‘BB17-321PT-1’ is the third known blueberry genotype to be selected in a tropical environment of Peru. ‘BB17-321PT-1’ does not require chill-hours for either budbreak or fruit production. The fruit of ‘BB17-321PT-1’ is a medium to large size berry, with medium blue color and extremely crunchy and firm texture. Current season shoots lose apical dominance, easily promoting several laterals without the need of any summer pruning. The eating quality of ‘BB17-321PT-1’ is excellent and the crunchiness is superior to all varieties currently grown in Peru known to Applicant, with a sugar/acidity balance of 20 to 30. Time of fruit production in ‘BB17-321PT-1’ can be regulated by the pruning date and environment conditions.
