In response to receiving a session inactivity indication for an account session established via an application executing on a user computing device, the data store may be queried using the account identifier to determine the task status for the task. The task status may be determined as remaining incomplete, and a notification indicating the incompletion may be generated. Additionally, a communication channel may be determined for transmission of the notification that increases a likelihood of notification engagement to prompt completion of the task. The notification may be transmitted via the communication channel.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a (e.g., 5G) wireless network has a (e.g., CBSD) base station and any suitable number of instances of user equipment (UE). For each group of one or more UEs, one of the UEs is designated as a primary UE that stores UE context information for the other (secondary) UEs in the UE group. To connect to a secondary UE, the base station can retrieve the UE context information from the secondary UE's associated primary UE without having to retrieve the secondary UE's context information from the core network, thereby reducing backbone bandwidth usage and delays in connecting the secondary UE, especially when many secondary UE request connections within a short time interval.

Abstract: A method includes inserting a set of canary text samples into a corpus of training text samples and training an external language model on the corpus of training text samples and the set of canary text samples inserted into the corpus of training text samples. For each canary text sample, the method also includes generating a corresponding synthetic speech utterance and generating an initial transcription for the corresponding synthetic speech utterance. The method also includes rescoring the initial transcription generated for each corresponding synthetic speech utterance using the external language model. The method also includes determining a word error rate (WER) of the external language model based on the rescored initial transcriptions and the canary text samples and detecting memorization of the canary text samples by the external language model based on the WER of the external language model.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for responding to unsupported or degraded conditions for autonomous vehicles (AVs). In some aspects, a method includes aggregating one or more trigger events generated across a software stack of an autonomous vehicle (AV) as aggregated trigger events, the one or more trigger events indicating at least one of unsupported or degraded conditions that bring the AV outside of allowable driving conditions of the AV, ranking the aggregated trigger events in accordance with priority levels corresponding to the aggregated trigger events, determining an AV maneuver to respond to a selected trigger event, wherein the selected trigger event is a highest ranked trigger event of the aggregated trigger events, causing the AV maneuver to be performed by the AV, and determining whether to at least one of fail the AV or recover the AV to a normal driving state in response to the selected trigger event.

Abstract: A wireless device system employs short-range wireless communication to require the local biometric authentication of a user prior to completing a desired transaction. In order to achieve this authentication, a mobile device connects to a local terminal and provides, along with the identifying information, a confirmed biometric profile of the user. At the time the transaction is to be completed, the terminal, which is equipped with a biometric sensor such as a camera, seeks to confirm that the user in the defined zone seeking to make the transaction matches the biometric profile submitted by the user's device. In this manner, the biometric verification is performed entirely by the terminal, independent of the user's phone, and without the need to connect to a centralized (and thus remote) server.

Abstract: A technique is described herein for assisting a user in editing a file. The technique involves producing current context information that includes an input message and selected file content. The input message describes a user's editing objective, while the selected file content describes a portion of the file to which the editing objective is to be applied. The technique then requests a pattern-completion engine to generate edit information based on the current context information. The edit information describes one or more changes to the selected file content that satisfy the objective of the user. The pattern-completion engine uses a machine-trained autoregressive text-completion model that is trained on revision history information. The model can be trained in a process that incorporates various tests to ensure that the edit information that is generated works as expected, satisfies various performance metrics, and fulfills the editing objectives of the user.

In some aspects, a method includes generating an emergency vehicle (EMV) detection signal based on sensor signals of an autonomous vehicle (AV); determining, based on the EMV detection signal, whether remote assistance (RA) is invoked for the EMV signal or whether the AV is to handle the EMV detection signal autonomously; and responsive to determining that the AV is to handle the EMV detection signal autonomously, determining a trajectory of the AV in response to the EMV detection signal.

Abstract: A method of generating a player prediction is disclosed herein. A computing system retrieves data from a data store. The computing system generates a predictive model using an artificial neural network. The artificial neural network generates one or more personalized embeddings that include player-specific information based on historical performance. The computing system selects, from the data, one or more features related to each shot attempt captured in the data. The artificial neural network learns an outcome of each shot attempt based at least on the one or more personalized embeddings and the one or more features related to each shot attempt.

The device comprises a protective receptacle or housing, which preferably houses at least one canister, and a receptacle cap. The device may also comprise a custom actuator in communication with a metered valve for delivering a precise, known volume of at least one micellized liquid nicotine formula. Methods of manufacture and use are also disclosed herein.

Abstract: Systems and methods for customizing business applications based upon user intent scores is described. A machine learning model trained to specifically predict when a user is likely to engage in a specific activity while interacting with the business application may be trained using data regarding prior interactions between a business application and a plurality of users. The machine learning model may thereafter provide a probability score for a particular user, the probability score indicating the likelihood that the user will engage in the specific activity for which the model has been trained to predict. The probability may be combined with a business value factor to produce a user intent score indicating the relative value of the user engaging in the specific activity.

Abstract: Neural representations may be used for multi-view reconstruction of scenes. A plurality of color images representing a scene from a plurality of camera poses may be received. For each point of a plurality of points along a ray, a signed distance and a color value may be determined as a function of a feature volume, a first neural network, and a second neural network. A predicted output color may be determined as a function of the density. At least one of the first neural network, the second neural network, the feature volume, or the transformation parameter may be adjusted based on the predicted output color and a corresponding target color obtained based on one of the color images. A three-dimensional representation of the scene may be displayed based on at least one of the first neural network, the second neural network, the feature volume, or the transformation parameter.
