  • Patent number: 11791001
Abstract: A memory system reads data from non-volatile memory cells using a set of read compare voltages to determine which data state the memory cells are in, where each data state is associated with predetermined data values. The read compare voltages are determined dynamically based on a difference between memory cell current at time of programming and memory cell current at time of reading.

  • Patent number: 11790809
Abstract: Certain example embodiments relate to a box or other viewer that accommodates one or more glass-inclusive samples and that is usable in a plurality of different configurations to facilitate evaluation of the sample(s) from indoor and outdoor viewing perspectives. The sample viewer is “convertible” between a transportation configuration and the indoor and outdoor viewing perspective configurations. For example, certain example embodiments may be used as glass-inclusive sample shipping and storage containers that transform into miniature mockup walls with little manual effort and with little risk of human viewers looking at glass the wrong way (e.g., a manner that would lead to a false impression of the visual aesthetic of the sample(s) therein). The glass-inclusive sample(s) may include one or more uncoated or coated glass sheets, insulated glass (IG) units, vacuum insulated glass (VIG) units, laminated products, and/or the like.

  • Patent number: 11789942
Abstract: The disclosed architecture leverages realtime continuous event processing (CEP) to address using a general input interface framework to import a dynamic set of event types (e.g., assets), and using a declarative, expressive query model to implement monitoring and management tasks on an asset level. This is in contrast to looking separately at single values from static databases and/or realtime streams as is common conventionally. The architecture uses the CEP data model to model assets as realtime event types. Thus, queries can be formulated per asset and not just per single stream. The architecture uses the query capabilities of CEP to formulate asset management and monitoring tasks as standing, declarative queries, and uses the input interface of a CEP platform to correlate data from different data sources with different dynamic properties.

  • Patent number: 11790226
Abstract: The performance of a neural network (NN) and/or deep neural network (DNN) can limited by the number of operations being performed as well as management of data among the various memory components of the NN/DNN. A sparsity-inducing regularization optimization process is performed on a machine learning model to generate a compressed machine learning model. A machine learning model is trained using a first set of training data. A sparsity-inducing regularization optimization process is executed on the machine learning model. Based on the sparsity-inducing regularization optimization process, a compressed machine learning model is received. The compressed machine learning model is executed to generate one or more outputs.

  • Patent number: 11792084
Abstract: Described are examples for using codelets executing within applications to use machine-learning (ML) models to infer a result based on application data. The codelets may be dynamically loaded into the applications during execution. A controller verifies, based on extended Berkeley packet filter (eBPF) bytecode of the codelet, that the codelet satisfies safety requirements for execution within the application. A computing device executing the application loads the verified codelet into a library of the application. The application executes the verified codelet to apply application data to the machine-learning model to infer a result. The ML model may be implemented by the eBPF code of the codelet or the codelet may include a call to a machine-learning model of a type supported by a controller of the application and a map for a serial representation of the machine-learning model. The computing device may reconstruct the ML model based on the serial representation.
