Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and a device in a User Equipment (UE) and a base station for multi-antenna transmission. The UE transmits a first radio signal in a first time interval, and receives a second radio signal in a second time interval; and then monitors a third radio signal in a third time interval. The first radio signal comprises first information, and the second radio signal comprises second information. Target information is used for a multi-antenna related receiving in the third time interval. A time-domain position of the second time interval is used for determining whether the target information is the first information or the second information. A time-domain position of the third time interval is associated to a time-domain position of the first time interval. The UE can select a beam direction corresponding to a downlink channel according to its measurement, thereby improving efficiency and performances of downlink transmission.
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method receives a downstream signal and an upstream signal in a same frequency band. The downstream signal and the upstream signal are separated into a first path and a second path. The downstream signal using the first path and the upstream signal using the second path are amplified in an analog domain. The method isolates the downstream signal and the upstream signal from one another and sends the downstream signal downstream to a subscriber device and sends the upstream signal towards a full duplex node.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the disclosure include receiving a message from a user at a user client device for a multi-agent entity. The message initiates a message thread between the user and the multi-agent entity. An administrator user for the multi-agent entity is determined and the message thread is forwarded to the administrator at an administrator client device. The method facilitates an exchange of security information between the administrator client device and the user client device. The method includes receiving a message thread forwarding a command from the administrator client device to forward the message thread to an agent of the multi-agent entity at an agent client device. The command can comprise a payload containing the security information.

Abstract: The invention relates to a portable device for measuring vertical rail measurements under service to record and report excessive vertical rail movement to prevent a train from derailing. The device may be pivoting with a tilt sensor and light-weight. The device may include a microprocessor, sensors, and a display. The device may be installed on the rail. Abstract: A system for storing and generating power is disclosed. The system comprises a first storage reservoir configured to store a first fluid, a second storage reservoir located at a lower elevation than the first storage reservoir and configured to store a second fluid wherein said second fluid has a higher density than the first fluid, and a pump. In some embodiments a generator may be employed. The pump and the first and the second reservoir are operatively connected such that power is stored by displacing the second fluid in the second storage reservoir by pumping the first fluid from the first storage reservoir to the second storage reservoir and such that power is generated by allowing the pumped first fluid in the second storage reservoir to exit the second reservoir. The first fluid is generally a liquid.

The first package body has an upper body rim. Each dynamic package body provides a dynamic lid volume and has a rim-receiving groove, a lid wall, and at least one resilient portion. The rim-receiving groove is removably attachable to the upper body rim for defining a dynamic package assembly volume with the package body when in a closed configuration with the first package body. An attachment nut may define a bore for supporting the stem in the hydrant. The attachment nut defines a cavity configured to receive water from a barrel of the hydrant. The attachment nut also defines a water access passage extending through an outer wall of the attachment nut to the cavity. The apparatus also includes a sensor in fluid communication with the cavity to obtain sensor data for the water in the barrel.

Abstract: Metadata for one or more highlights of a video stream may be extracted from one or more card images embedded in the video stream. The highlights may be segments of the video stream, such as a broadcast of a sporting event, that are of particular interest. According to one method, video frames of the video stream are stored. One or more information cards embedded in a decoded video frame may be detected by analyzing one or more predetermined video frame regions. Image segmentation, edge detection, and/or closed contour identification may then be performed on identified video frame region(s). Further processing may include obtaining a minimum rectangular perimeter area enclosing all remaining segments, which may then be further processed to determine precise boundaries of information card(s). The card image(s) may be analyzed to obtain metadata, which may be stored in association with at least one of the video frames.
